Run!

It's always dark in the Lobby, the underlit underbelly of Battery City. No one knows this better that Blue, a down-on-her-luck porno droid sick and tired of dim streets filled with wasted parts, static and Scarecrow patrols lookin' to party. Blue's true companion is Red, whose battery is low and whose life is running short. Together they long to flee the confines of BLI and reach the desert, where the electricity stops and their new lives begin.

Red Pornbot has TAKEN THE LEAD for my favorite character. The love between blue and red is so pure and awesome and true... and vaguely creepy because they freaking look alike...

the more i read this, the more i realise it’s not actually about the weird neon world.

it’s about the people living inside it.

i still love how chaotic and colourful everything is, but the sadder moments are what really make this work. it feels like there’s a lot of loneliness hiding underneath all the noise.

somehow this comic manages to be ridiculous and heartbreaking at the same time.

still not over this.

I love the art work, it's beautiful. I literally don't have words to tell how much I'm enjoying this.

I'm really sad about Red and Blue, the love they share it's so pure and beautiful, I'm sad.

AND I CANNOT BELIEVE VAL KILLED DOCTOR D. I'M SO FUCKING ANGRY I HATE HIM.

like the previous books, it's a bit hard to follow the story, as it seems to be made like a storyboard almost? pretty good though
