Preston still loves Maggie and Maggie thinks she doesn't love Preston, but is still attracted to him. She thinks he'll be like her father, and put business first, which is why she left him. She is the largest stockholder in his company, which scumbag Andy Clarke is trying to take over. Love's redemption
This book had me from the outset and I liked the fact that you got a perspective from all the major characters. I felt sorry for Tarrylyn but she caused her own suffering and her father got what he deserved at the end. I also thought it fitting that Rod and Aunt Patrice ended up screwing each other over. It was a fitting end to their manipulative machinations. I'm just glad that Preston and Maggie finally realized they belonged to each other. To bad it wasn't until her life was ...more

This was a quick read - it was a good read, it just needed a bit more substance and a little less fluff/filler. The characters were fun and relatable and the plot was good, however, the author used a bit of filler to make the chapters longer. There was also a lot going on at times that left the reader wondering how it was all going to fit together in the end.

I´ll be possitive and focus in the fact that I did enjoy this book. Mostly.
Nonetheless, I must express that I was utterly frustrated with Maggie. So if you venture and read it, you´ll know why.
Exciting romance, affairs, deception, murder. Great parts.

I found the book a little confusing at first with all the introduction of characters. The story did not get started until 30 percent into the book. It was a slow start
