Oh Man...
Travis Luedke had me so swept away with all the blood, sex, and violence... I wasn't expecting to get sucker-punched in the FEELS...

(Spoilers only if you haven't read the first book...
And there's no excuse not to read it, it's FREE!)
Forever marked, hooked, an addict, a bloodslave. He'd done it to her on purpose, to bind her permanently. He'd broken Michelle's primary rule.

I bought this book right after reading the first in Luedke's Nightlife series, Nightlife: New York. The story picks up as Aaron and Michelle have a left a big mess in New York, only to find themselves in a bigger mess in Las Vegas. The plotting is much stronger in NL:Las Vegas, as is Luedke's writing. I'm impressed. The story is more carnal and graphic than the last, and I think it's sure to please any fan of vamp fiction. Nightlife: Las Vegas is a no-holes-barred, easy-to-read romp that mixes ...more

Drama, action and lots of pleasure, that’s what THE NIGHTLIFE: LAS VEGAS is all about!

THE NIGHTLIFE: LAS VEGAS picks up where the first book in the series, THE NIGHTLIFE: NEW YORK leaves off in a continuation of the story of Vampire Master, Michelle and her loyal, but disobedient side-kick and vampire servant, Aaron. Who ever said ‘all things in moderation’ didn’t know what they were talking about, but we’re talking about Vegas baby and for Michelle and Aaron’s sake, I really hope ‘what happens

Summary – 4.5 stars
The Nightlife: Las Vegas by Travis Luedke poses the age old question of what happens when vampires cut loose in Sin City. Mix “Fright Night”, “Showgirls”, and “Scarface”, and you have the answer. Aaron and Michelle explore every vice available, and break many of the rules by which they lived in New York. The result is an off the hook adventure worthy of its setting. If you thought their adventures in New York were wild, you ain't seen nothing yet. The Nightlife: Las Vegas

The Nightlife: Las Vegas is the second installment in Travis Luedke's Nightlife series, give us another twist of all the madness that can occur in the city where everything you want to happen may become true.

Aaron and his master seductress vampire, Michelle, leave behind their problems in New York and try their luck in Las Vegas.

Do you consider cheating to use mind reading to win at poker and other games in a casino? Aaron knows it’s not okey to do it, but as it’s his new natural and unique

This is the second book in the erotic, vampire Nightlife series.

Michelle and Aaron are vampires in Las Vegas. They had previously been in NYC, but a botched kidnapping/ransom attempt two dirty cops made on Michelle left both cops dead and our two vamps on the road for quieter nightlife.

Aaron's been winning a ton of money playing poker--his telepathy has earned him High Roller status, and a serious enemy--gangster Demarco. This dude doesn't like to lose, and he REALLY wants to get a piece of

Move over Dracula. I don't think we're in Transylvania anymore Toto. Travis Luedke's updated version of vampires will set your incisors on edge. Blood, sex, drama and more. This book has it all.

I am writing this review a little bit backwards…when I finished reading this book, I sent a message to Travis Luedke and told him that I don’t do vampire books. I think his response was not only a gentle little pat on the back to himself, but a profound thought for me. He simply said he was happy he could pull me from my comfort zone… I thought about that for hours.
When I finished reading The Nightlife New York, I was sure that there was not going to be another book that could make glad I was

I haven't read the third book in this series; The Nightlife: Paris, but it is on my TBR list in the very near future. I liked this book much more then the first one (New York). I felt that the characters were more defined, the storyline was more compelling, and it had a stronger plot. At first I was unsure of what the plot actually was. Was it Ana's unconditional love for them? Was it the controversy with Demarco, Oso, and the rest of the gang? But when I continued reading I started to ...more

Aaron and Michelle leave behind the drama that surrounded them in New York to lay low in Las Vegas. From the outset, it’s easy to see how this might not work out so well for them. They run afoul of drug dealing thugs and break their one rule of not creating blood slaves.

First Aaron generates a little too much interest and negative attention by using his talents to cheat players at poker. This puts him on the radar of a drug dealer and his security contacts in the
Oh Travis...what have you done? I know what you wrote a fantastic series of books about vampires, sex, drugs, and the like. Who doesn't want sex, drugs, prostitutes, dirty cops, and oh yes, sexy vampires in their books? You are NUTS if you answered NO to that question!! It wasn't rhetorical!!

I am writing this review on the series as a whole vs book by book.

This series is about, yes, everything I mentioned above but so much more. These books were seriously written as if written by a

While reading book 1 of the Nightlife Series I couldn't help but to crave more action and violence. Two of the main things I look for when reading any true vampire novel or novella. I was more than pleased with the depravity, blood violence and love mixed into to this addition to the series. First and foremost this book is definitely not for the faint of heart or anyone looking for just another Paranormal Romance in which is just

I'd call this a 3.5.

I really loved The Nightlife: New York and anticipating liking this one just as much. Such was not the case, however. Luedke's writing is just as crisp and wonderful here as it was in the first, but a lot of what I really appreciated about the first book didn't carry over into this one. Most notable was Aaron's innocence. This was one of my favourite aspects of The Nightlife: New York. It seemed to have been replaced in The Nightlife: Las Vegas by The Predator. While I liked

Rachel's Review: 4*

THE NIGHTLIFE: LAS VEGAS picks up where the first book finished.

This book was much faster paced, darker with more violence, sex, some jello fighting and lots of OMG moments I found it difficult to put down!

Aaron and Michelle gamble away in Las Vegas, until they win from the wrong guy which leads them into trouble. Aaron also meets a woman, Ana, who he makes his bloodslave/ pet.

At first I didn’t see the need for Ana as I missed Aarons softer side towards Michelle, but as the

I love the Nightlife! This was a thrilling ride with much more action than the previous book. Being set in Las Vegas gave it a more decadent feel and allowed a chance for Aaron and Michelle to interact with a variety of characters both dark and light(ish) because no one here was really good. I was so pulled into the story that I read it over the course of a day and a half, which speaks volumes about how enjoyable it was, and it only took that long because I had to sleep. The characters are very ...more

This is book two in the Night Life series, and a continuation of ‘Night Life New York’. and the journey of Aaron and Michelle. Even if you do not like reading about vampires, this book is different from any you have ever read. These vampires do not kill for blood, they stay connected to their human only for 60 seconds, just enough to feed, no longer. If they stayed longer, the human became their blood-slave. The human is left with an erotic feeling, or orgasm such as they have never experienced, ...more
I am not usually into characters where the heroine is the dominant in the relationship. I really enjoy my Alpha males. However, I thought I would give this series a shot, cause it sounded really intriguing.

Aaron is actually a really fun snarky guy to read, I preferred his POV most of the time. I was really rooting for him and Michelle to work their unconventional relationship out. I am a total sucker for HEA.

Each book takes you to a new local with this couple, their relationship progresses

Characters like these need alpha cities to backdrop their mayhem. The seedier the underbelly the better these characters grow. In the crime chic world of Las Vegas, Michelle and Aaron hit the highrollers and cause the most beautiful gore, with a rip it to shreds story of addiction. In the second book in Luedke's Nightlife series (The Nightlife: New York being a hard act to follow) we hang in the shadows with two of the most delicious creatures-of-the-night, ever to grace the pages of erotica. ...more

The intensity in this book greatly increased from the first book with every carnal and beastly action these vampires could do. As if rules did not apply to the characters in this book. The bad guys got it good, messing with predators that was high on more than just blood lust.
When the bad guys came in the pictures I truly was sorry for them. I was not disappointed.
When we met Aaron in book 1 he was the epitome of innocence, struggling with his own fears and pain trying to fit in a world that he

An intense roller-coaster of emotion – love, addiction, and sex.

Michelle and Aaron are living it up in Las Vegas until Aaron complicates their lives with his attention-attracting success in the casinos. Not to mention falling madly for Anastasia, a young woman with psychic sensitivity who he instantly converts to a bloodslave.

Ana is a fascinating, complicated character who provides a unique view of the passionate relationship that exists between our two vampires. However, she soon falls victim

this was a great book. i cannot wait to see what else is in store. i had no idea that there were more books in this series!

this story continues right where it left off. I wouldn't recommend reading it out of order. you will not be lost, but you will miss a lot of key elements.

Aaron and Michelle started their new life in vegas. they were enjoying all the nightlife had to offer. That was until Aaron started to win to much money at the casino. Michelle was doing her own thing, and getting men to

I love reading about things I enjoy from the point of view of others. This author's point of view of suckheads is quite unique: in the world of Nightlife, vampires are extremely sexual creatures whose bites are of an orgasmic and addictive quality to humans. Las Vegas continues where New York left off, with the pairing of Aaron and Michelle now living in Sin City after slaying the two corrupt cops who had been bent on getting revenge on Michelle for physically humiliating them. Michelle is ...more

My Rant: Travis strikes again at giving us an amazing story. In this book we pick up were we leave off with Michelle and Aaron. Now they are in vegas and that comes with new players in the game. But things have changed. Aaron, my predator has made some more changes and he is a force to be recon with. But in this book he makes decisions that leave you intrigued. Aaron takes it among himself to add to Michelle and his relationship and just when you think Michelle will rip his head off she embraces ...more

Nightlife: Las Vegas is the second book in the Nightlife Series. This installment allows the reader to follow Michelle and Aaron as they take on Sin City.

Aaron is very different in this book; he has embraced his new life and is strong and confident. Although Michelle is the master, he seems more of an equal. Anastasia is a woman with psychic ability to whom Aaron is drawn. She is a tortured soul who has had a really rough life. Readers will get to see the interesting role she plays in the lives

I just finished Nightlife: Las Vegas by Travis Luedke. Wow.

I've read Nightlife: New York twice now. I really enjoyed it even though I'm not normally a huge fan of paranormal romance. Although, now that I think about it, I have read everything all the Kim Harrison books.

Nightlife: Las Vegas takes the next logical projection. Vampires in a new relationship are not likely to take midnight strolls and stare at the moon. There will be sex and blood and a whole bunch of violence. In every way I loved

After a horrible incident in New York Aaron and Michelle leave for Las Vegas. Ready for some fun the couple hit clubs, the casino, and music festivals. There Aaron meets Anastasia and instantly feels the need to keep her. Blood Slaves are a huge no-no with Michelle. She knows what becomes of them after a time. Using his telepathy Aaron wins big at the tables catching the eye of the Colombian Cartel. Seems the more fun the vampire couple have the more trouble it brings their way.

The story continues with Michelle and Aaron as well as introducing a new "pet", Ana. Ana's character is very well developed and her background is very believable and easy to relate to. She fits extremely well in to the story! This story is much darker and more violent and graphic than the first, with many more sex scenes, so reader beware, it is not for the faint of heart! This story, like the first, was in a constant state of action, which I loved immensely! The plot and writing was even better ...more
