Ethan Quaderer is the Great Thunderbird, the creature of Native American legend. From childhood, Ethan soared high across the land, as one with the majestic bald eagles—only larger and more powerful. Great Thunderbird has one mission, to save the Native American people. But first, he must find his Chosen, his soul mate.

Abraham Tuttle grew up in a household where being diff

It's better to laugh...and play a drinking game.

Every time there's a random tense or POV shift or your/you're what-the-fuckery; DRINK.

Every time a Thunderbird is mentioned; STRAIGHT UP, BABY.

Dream sequences? Check. Long absence? That too.

Actual plot or relationship building? MISSING!

I can't even tell you what this book is about. Two Native American guys, both bird shape shifters, except one can't shift, meet in dreams and in real life, and then they

Let me begin by saying that I have never...(gasp) read 'Gay Romance'. I know, I know. Shame on me. But the truth is, it isn't because I had no desire's simply because I have so many books on my Kindle and with my own writing going on, I can barely find time to read what I write. However, when I found out that Lia Michaels was publishing a brand NEW book with sassy Vixen Publishing, I tossed my "to-do" list to the side and dove right into this ebook.

And....WOW! Lia has taken Native Americ

I loved this story. I truly felt like I was part of the dream sequence. I was able to read the book in one day, but I love books like that, especially since I could actually feel like I was right there as everything was happening. Love Lia Michaels work and can not wait to read more!
I was enticed by the blend of Native American culture, paranormal, and military elements and for the most part I really enjoyed where this one went.

After a decade, Abraham Tuttle, has returned to the place where it all began and ended so heartbreakingly. He is now back at the Army Ranger school as an instructor. The dreams are coming often and more intense than ever when he dreams of his destined lover, The Great Thunderbird, who tells him that they are mates. Abe can't quite accept it because u

A unique story with formatting flaws.

Forbidden Destiny is a short story that introduces readers to the M/M romance series Fearless Love. The main characters, Ethan and Abraham, have been dreaming of each other since childhood. As the "Chosen One" of his Native American people, Ethan is a raptor or eagle shifter who is destined to become the Great Thunderbird and restore peace and hope to all the native tribes.

Before he can begin this journey he must find his mate, Abraham. While Ethan has always

I have read my fair share of gay erotica and must say am quite impressed with this effort written by Lia Michaels. "Forbidden Destony (Fearless Love)" is a complex tale combining dreams, a Native American legendary theme, childhood and identity issues and a most pure and beautiful romantic gay soul mate story.
Told in four parts the love story takes place in dreams, in the past, in the present and even in different shapes. It is a well written and deeply felt account of what it takes to make love

I love m/m romance stories and love Native American theme stories as well. I wanted so badly to like this story, it sounded intriguing and mysterious but it missed out on the follow through in some parts . I felt a little lost, it jumped around a little but I thought the characters were good. I felt the plot got better as it continued on and intrigued me, just felt it was confusing and I had to re read to get the gist, some parts good others ok... 3.5 stars

I received this book through NetGalley but sadly I could not finish it (past Chapter 3) due to several distracting factors. The repeated verb tense changes (wrong word usage) kept knocking me out of the story and just became too frustrating to continue. POV shift changes (errors?) that left me confused as to which character was sharing what with me... this usually happened when the shift occurred mid-paragraph. Also, the formatting went wonky (text size became super small) but this could just be ...more

Lia Michaels is the alter ego of author Tammy Dennings Maggy. With so many characters clamoring for their stories to be told, the job became a bit overwhelming for one sassy vixen to handle. Lia "volunteered" to explore the world of M/M erotic romance as well as menage. Tammy will still tell the M/F and F/F stories but don't be surprised if the two of them collaborate from time to time!

With Lia, v
