Inspired by true events...

The first day of college gives every girl a chance to reinvent herself.

I go and screw mine up by meeting the most gorgeous guy I've seen in five years while talking to my cat.

But Andrew Crowner is far from judgmental. By the end of our interaction, he has me smitten by his easy manner and kind smile. And from the way his eyes linger on me before

Also, I would love to hear how things turned out for the real life characters this was somewhat based on, as mentioned at the end of "Never Let Go" as well. <3 (less)

We first meet sweet and innocent Paige her first day of college talking to her tabby cat "Pickles," by Andrew who had to be the first guy she meets, imagine how mortifying that would be "Shame" and as she's turning around she's

I've read Scarlet Edwards Change of Hearts books and loved it. This one, the verdict is still out there. It's 3.5 a bit of a limbo stars for me.

The book is definitely well written, funny and romantic.

Paige was brought up by her grandmother in a very conservative way. The mantra drilled into her at the all-girls boarding school she attended is that sex is bad. Her whole life has been structured to teach her the dangers of pre-marital sex. Going to college was her fresh start. And on her first

Never Let Go is an amazing story right from the beginning but I do want to warn you because most people HATE LOVE TRIANGLES this is one of those books that has one but it is so much more than a love triangle because yes Paige the main character is in love with two different guys the guys are so much more than what you would normally read about in a love triangle. One guy is sweet and sensitive and could be Paige's everything but them you have your rough and rugged guy who has a sensitive side to ...more

I'm going to try to do this review with no spoilers, but some are inevitable. I really enjoyed this book, the characters can be annoying sometimes with their actions, but I guess that makes them more human. We meet Paige as she is starting her freshman year at college. She meets 2 guys on her first day and is infatuated with one, Andrew, and in lust with another, Spencer. Andrew is the book boyfriend material and Spencer is the gorgeous man whore. It's a

4.5 Star Review by Annie

Never Let Go will hold you captive the whole way through. You will not want to eat, sleep, or tinkle, because it will take time away from this book. Yes, it is that good! Once you finish the book it will still have you thinking about it. Lately I have been in a book rut, yes, I have read amazing books, but nothing that has captured me. This book ended my rut.

After taking care of her dying grand-mom, Paige finally gets her chance to go off and experience college life.

Never Let Go by Scarlett Edwards

I started Never Let Go one evening and didnt finish until wayyyy after my bedtime. I was drawn in by Paige. She wasnt one of the leading ladies that had me constantly rolling my eyes, nor did she make decisions that made me want to accidentally slap her. Edwards wrote wonderful characters that endeared me to them, and made me want to know more and more.

Meet 19 year old Paige, she finally breaking out on her own. She had a different upbringing than most, being raised by boarding school, then

The stunning ripples of his abdominal muscles make my insides clench up. His shoulders, chest, and arms are lean and cut. A Light grazing of hair trails down the midline of his torso, disappearing from view at the tan line at his hips. For a brief moment, his pants ride down far enough for me to glimpse the top of some tattoo that starts on the top of his left quad. - Paige

The story starts off as Paige arrives at her dorm at the beginning of her freshman year at college. She bumps into Andrew as

This book just didn't do it for me. I think it was a personal thing. Other people will probably like it. But I just didn't care for the characters.

Paige- She annoyed me. I didn't think her innocence came off as cute, I thought it came off as childish. Her weird freak outs would have scared any guy away. She sounded unstable and a little psychotic at times. She was extremely flighty, promising Andrew one thing and then turning around and betraying her promise, what?10 minutes later? I did NOT get

Paige is not your typical american girl. She has spent most of her life in an all girls boarding school before going to take care of her grandmother before she passes on. Arriving at her college dorm she meets Andrew who is preppy, funny, and a very sweet guy. Thinking Andrew is just the person she needs to help her start this new path in life makes her spirit soar. That is until she meets Spencer. Spencer the tattoo bad boy has a reputation of being the college stud. Jumping from one girl to ...more

4 1/2 CAPTIVATING STARS! So I might have to make a little confession by saying I'm from Salt Lake City and there are almost NO books that reference us here in Utah. So when one does it automatically gets at least 3 stars just by doing that. (Us Utahns are very supportive of anyone from here, anything referencing here, pretty much anyone that can have any tie to Utah we will be your fans :)) Ok now that that is off my chest, this book was WONDERFUL! If there had been no mention of my hometown I ...more

3.5 stars! Was good! But that ending?! I didn't know this was the beginning to a series! I about died at the ending because I had thought this was a stand alone. Looking forward to reading the next to see what happened next.

Slight spoilers ahead.

Hmm, not what I was expecting. The writing seemed off (which, for me was odd, because I absolutely loved the writing in the "uncovering you" series.)

It just seemed like a different author completely.

I couldn't connect with Paige at all. She seemed whiny, over-dramatic, "whoa- is- me", and wayyy too clingy and emotional (she's the very definition of emo and angsty, without the depth.)
I mean, she literally has a "breakdown"over the strangest reason in the

When I read the synopsis for Never Let Go, I was very impressed and curious. Of course, I wanted to read it. Because it sounded different and wonderful.
Well, after reading Never let go, I can say that it is a wonderful book, but I cant say its very different from all the NA books out there. And although I liked it and read it in, like, one day, I didnt love it. This was a 3 stars for me.

Overall, I really liked this book. It has everything I look for in a New Adult book: humor, entertaining banter, a little mystery, real-life problems, hot guys, a likeable heroine and plenty of butterflies-in-your-tummy moments.

Storyline: Inexperienced (note I didn't say virgin for the virgin haters) girl goes to college and meets two sexy suitors.. one is the unattainable bad boy with a motorcycle and one is the forbidden boy-next-door-type. Both are immediately smitten with Paige (sounds a

DNFed by chapter 2. Stereotypical start to a very eye rolling New Adult where the heroine will lust after the bad boy love interest even though he's a walking STD. Guess it's a given in order to be a bad boy love interest, he must be a man ho. So not sexy, IMO. Very insulting trope happening among the New Adult category that really needs to die a fast death.

I really enjoyed reading the book. Especially the parts were they go on dates and just have fun. There was something so genuine about that and I really liked it!

This was a wonderful story! I enjoyed
the flaws and the development of the
characters. There is somewhat of a
love triangle, but not exactly, since no
one was dating each other, just had
interest. Even so, this was an enjoyable read,
and I want to see how things went for Paige
and Spencer on their next step on their life.
I am also wondering if the sequel
was ever made? If so, what is the title?
All the characters: Paige, Spencer, Katy,
and Andrew, were interesting. I was hoping
to see where their stories

I loved this book! It was so easy to read, it's well written and just flows through. I could identify to the main character and was going up and down with her on the emotional roller-coaster. The male characters are well described and I could really imagine them (super hot obviously)!
Overall a very light and entertaining reading that I really enjoyed. I doesn't finish though so I hope to find the next one and read it the soonest!

DNF. Not even sure where I stopped but probably 40% in. The book isn't bad, per say. It's just that we've been there, done that. Innocent girl goes to college and falls for the bad boy she shouldn't. Every classic cliche happens. Writing isn't that extraordinary. Characters are bland. And there was no chemistry.

I thought this book was okay. The main character Paige is different from many girls. She enters into college with her cat Pickles to try and reinvent herself. Her experience with sex or even talking to a guy is very limited. Her upbringing was in an all-girls Catholic school. Paiges grandmother is the one that raised her because her mom had her when she was very young. I believe she was 15 and Paige really considered her as a wild older sister. Unfortunately, I didnt feel like

"Being know as the crazy girl who talks to cats is not how I want to start my new life."

After being raised by her grandmother and going to a strict religious school, Paige is looking forward to going to college and becoming the person she wants to be ... not what others think she should be. She's an average girl. She's innocent, but not entirely naive. (No one who watches True Blood can be clueless about sex.) But, she's been programmed to think

I picked this up last Friday night looking for a quick read while my little man was napping, I was intrigued by the inspired by true events tag. We meet Paige talking to her cat Pickles (great name for a cat BTW) in front of her freshman dorm where she meets the very cute Andrew. I was a little confused at first why any freshman girl would be moving into her dorm unassisted by any parents or other relatives and also how she would be allowed to move in

At the start of this year, I was obsessed with New Adult contemporary romances, and then a few months ago I kind of started to get burned out on them. Lately, I have been loving my paranormals, but Never Let Go is such a great story, that it made me want to get back on a contemporary kick. I swear I cant make up my mind. I love my contemps and my paranormals. Never Let Go is a great example of the new adult genre.

I will give this warning though- if you dont like love triangles, this may not be

Can I tell you how much I love, love triangle stories? They are probably my favorite type of stories. Because of the struggle and pain one typically goes through to finally come to some type of decision. It's a process and you are right along with them to figure it out along the way, like you are the one really going through the situation. And again this book is kind of hard to give a good review because I don't want to give away any spoilers.

This book is about a girl; Paige who wanted to truly
