Solid Introduction

This book was a great overview of responsibilities and care of Holland lop rabbits. It also had enough information to get you started with the history, breeding, and showing of rabbits.

A solid first introduction.

Good information

All in all, I think that this book was very educating on Holland lops. The only thing however, is that Holland lops can cost much more than said in the book.

I didn’t actually read this book. I read my brothers Dutch rabbits book that he made in 4th grade and I learned so much. So thank you Scott for that wonderful information.

Short basic book, nothing you couldn't find with a quick internet search on the breed. A few facts that aren't true, like wire bottoms cages causing sore feet. Most breeds are fine especially holland lops as their feet are covered in thick fur. It actually can be better using wire bottomed cages as the urine and feces drop down and the rabbit doesn't stand all day in it's own waste. Even if you clean the cage every day rabbits poop and pee a lot each day so their feet do get stained and wet. Some of the links and websites might be useful so I will look into those but the book itself was a waste of money. Like I said almost everything in this book can be found in 30 minutes with a free internet search.
