My sister shared this book with me. Not my usual choice, but a quick, entertaining read. The author's bubbly, conversational style created a sense that the author was chatting with me over an espresso.

Cute travelogue type story about an American woman who meets her Italian husband. In the book, she also relates stories of her past in regards to family. She was one of a 11 children virtually raised by a single mother, and she explains how this colored her view on life.

The parts I could not stop laughing about were when she talked about her then Italian boyfriend (future husband) and his reactions to everyday life situations, the pet cats living inside the apartment, for instance. I loved the way he was portrayed in the book.

The happy ending for the author was the "cherry on top" of the story for the reader.
