Georgia can’t figure out why the burden of a Y chromosome seems to make guys so hard to understand. First, there’s the handsome but slippery Jeremy Wrentham. After Georgia shared some pretty devastating kisses with him, she found her way home and he found her sister!

And then there’s Michael Endicott, who never fails to let her know that her family’s quirkiness lies too fa

I got about a quarter of the way into this third installment in the Snark and Circumstance series before the light bulb in my head clicked on. This is a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice. Yep, it took me that long. I mean, it's right there in book titles: Snark and Circumstance, Charm and Consequence, Pride and Prep School... But it didn't sink in at first. Even the name of the towns and schools: Longbourne, Pemberly, Netherfield, should have given it away. I think it was because I wasn't ...more

I'm really enjoying this series of novellas so far. I'm completely hooked on the characters and, while I suspect how the story is going to go, I'm torn between wanting it to happen already and wanting the story to continue on forever. They're quick and easy, sweet, angst-free reads.

I've given the first two novellas three stars. This one gets four because I feel like a lot more happened. The characters are developing nicely and really coming into

Finished the 3rd part, which is contained the part when Wickham seducing Lizzie's sister, which is in this case Georgia's sister, Cassie and Wickham is Jeremy Wrentham. And the part when Lizzie taking a tour in Darcy's home and accidentally caught by him.
I must say that Georgia is much more had prejudice that Lizzie has and truthfully if I were Michael a.k.a Darcy, I would back out from her asap. But, well....still I hurry to open the next part.

*This review is of the third book in a series, and therefore, there might be mild spoilers ahead*

We’ve now reached the part of our story in which the tide begins to turn — in which our prejudicial heroine starts to have her assumptions regarding a certain prideful gentleman challenged. Since finding herself the recipient of the (insufferable) Michael Endicott’s help in extracting her from a potentially compromising situation with another gentleman who possessed not-so-gentlemanly intentions, Geo

Pride and Prep School was a short, sweet story. The writing style was interesting and the execution was done pretty well. I wish instead of breaking out this book into so many parts, it was just compiled into one single proper book because I was genuinely disappointed when it ended so abruptly.

Anyway, the characters were funny and even though I found Georgia very very judgmental and annoying sometimes, I didn't exactly mind it because the title of the novella does have the word Pride in it and

They should have been one book but they were was still pretty good. I'm a fan of Jane Austen and Jane Austen retellings so keep that in mind. However, aside from feeding my Jane Austen craving, I thought the characters were well developed, the story had enough happening that my interest was peaked throughout all 4 volumes, and the overall writing style was smooth and easy to read. Georgia, the Elizabeth-like character, was occasionally a bit over-zealous with her veganisms but that was kind of t ...more

Cute and fluffy story continuation from book 2. This is also not a complete book. I just wish that instead of 4 books it was 1 complete book. To me, it just doesn't make sense to charge separately for incomplete novellas. Anyhow, it was a fun read overall.

I was trying to give this the benefit of the doubt here...but Georgia's personality is just too grating to deal with anymore.

“Suddenly a force greater than my common sense—which, I’ll admit, has been pretty faulty lately, propels me—and I find myself creeping up the long staircase to the forbidden second floor.
I need to see Michael’s room.
I need to find out if he is a secret slob, or if there’s even more interesting evidence of whom he is up there. I’m not expecting to find anything big, like a literal skeleton in his closet. But I am going to find it, whatever it is. And I will know once and for all who he is.
I make it to the landing when I hear a burst of barking below me and I freeze.
Someone has let a dog in.
Which means that some member of the Endicott family is actually in the house.
Which means that one of Michael’s parents is about to catch me snooping.”
