This book was unlike any vampire book I've ever read.
At first, I thought there was lots of words spelled wrong, but soon figured out that it was written as spoken, in true English, i.e. arse (ass).
The book jumps back in time every other chapter, giving lots of details of this 400 year old vampire's life.
It kept me guessing, a lot, but in the end, I thought it was a great book. I actually felt sorry for the vampire, Gabriele.
Kenyon fans, this is nothing like the Dark Hunters series. No where near as much sex.

Not normally into horror romance novels but this one lends a slightly different take on the vampire theme and leaves you intrigued enough to want to read the next two books in the trilogy. I liked it so much we're going to relaunch a re-edited version (mainly grammatical changes - although there is an extra chapter at the end) as "killing Kiss" at Fantasycon this September (2008).
