Jessica again shows that she is a skilled writer, who focuses on developing her characters. She spends a lot of time on that so you really feel close to the characters. I am very intrigued by Ella and her developing character, however I am still not a real fan of hers. She seems to make some seriously odd decisions and seems more conflicted than one might think she should be considering all of it. I have a tough time identifying with her, but that does not affect the fact that I do enjoy the boo ...more

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review from the author Jessica Miller and the group Lovers of Paranormal (lop).

This book was just as good as the first one, only a touch more paranormal. The characters in this are flawless, and I honestly have a hard time putting this book down. There is something about this story that just captives you and just draws you right in. Its magical really. The plot of this is amazing, descriptions are spot on. It's almost like being there yourself that

This one was definitely better than the first book. Only thing I was missing was Tristan. Yes, he's a jerk most of the time, but that's why we love him!

In this story, we find Ella at her new school for the supernatural. The best part of this book for me was seeing Ella gain all her different powers. Lots of new characters are introduced. Some good, some evil (that would be her new roommate). Lots of entertaining scenes.

I loved the ending. Another secret is revealed along with a pretty b

Book 2 in The Wanderers series was kick-@ss!! I read it while doing the dishes. That's how much I couldn't put it down!

Ella's reeling from the brutal murders of her best friend and boyfriend. To deal with her grief she goes on a tattoo spree and p's off her parents pretty bad so they're sending her off to a private boarding school for the supernatural to help her learn more about being a Wanderer, about her royal lineage and to keep her safe from Jack, the rogue vampire who murdered her loved o

☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆

Reborn is a continuation of Ella’s life, trying to go on without Tristan. Ella struggled with every breath she took, losing her best friend Josie and her love Tristan and not having them around took a toll on her. Life was hard and she welcomed the pain in any way possible.

While book 2 is wildly entertaining, full of action and full of new characters, it was a little hard to read not having Tristan around. His presence

First off let me say that I was so distraught after book 1 that I truly considered not reading Reborn. I wasn't sure if I could handle anymore .
And once again placing all grammatical errors aside I read it and I'm glad that I gave it a chance. Jessica Miller does have something special in The Wanderers Series.

We find Ella dealing with the traumatic events of book 1 in her own way. And may I add that I will forever be Team Tristan...

We join the McAllisters for the holidays as they all try and e

I wasn't sure if I was ready to read this after the tragic ending of The Wanderers. Again, this book picks up right where The Wanderers leaves us and I hadn't expected it to be so well written and interesting after what happened in the previous book. I felt like the author, herself, trapped herself in a corner and wasn't going to be able to right an awesome sequel. However, I was wrong. Obviously, this book was amazing.

The plot. I give it an A. N

But things did not pan out the way they all thought it would. Now, Ella is off to an elite school, one that is for people like her, not just vampires, but other supernaturals. Ah! This series leaves me hanging every time but I love it. It's like a little bit or torture along with all the goodness that's within the pages.

After finishing the first book in the series, I was totally heartbroken, hoping that it was all a misunderstanding, and as soon as I started book 2, it would be set right.

I liked where the author took the plot - sending Ella away to the school. I liked the new characters that were introduced. Roman was questionable there for a while. I wasn't sure if

Thanks to that psycho Jack, Ella is now lost yet again after the death of both her best friend Josie and boyfriend Tristan. Add to that the fact that she is a half vampire and her family has hidden this fact from her her whole life. Her overly controlling family is now forcing her to attend a private school just for those of her kind. Her new life at Hamilton Hill is anything but easy with an evil socialite, a new guy named Roman that makes

This series just gets better. 'Reborn' grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let go, just like the first book in this series 'Wanderers'. I loved the storyline and the way it played out was great. It was sad seeing Ella trying to get through the deaths of Tristan and Josie. But she did surprise me with how bad-ass she is getting. Full of drama, suspense, action, romance and the paranormal aspect rocked. Roman

Reborn (The Wanderers, #2) by Jessica Miller

Ella now knows who she is. She is learning to adjust and her parents have sent her to a school (Hamilton Hill) for people like them. While there she makes some friends and enemies. She just wants to blend in and no longer be an"out cast"

The story goes deeper into her family history and what she is. She has to learn how to adjust to life with her new found abilities. Also she has to stay safe, and protect herself. While her past still haunts her, she h

This book was really good. It made me really sad at the beginning knowing that Ella would be going to a new school without knowing anyone but her annoying brother and not having the love of her life (Tristan) and her best friend (Josie) with her. I thought the book really started to get good after she met yummy Roman and Aidan. I thought the ending was really great!!! Another solid 3 starts for Reborn. Ella is growing as character and the general setting of the book has changed dramatically from a college life to go attend Hamilton Hill a school for “freaks” with age range from (16-30)like her to learn about being a vampire, werewolf and witch. I was reminded of all the other school for paranormal books out there is the hot boys, ‘mean girls,’ and the somewhat outsider than doesn’t fit in main character, Ella. There is action in the book what could be a love ...more

Note: spoilers for the plot of The Wanderers present

Reborn, the second novel in The Wanderers series by Jessica Miller, picks up where The Wanderers left off. Ella has returned to her parents’ house, where she is spending the summer with her family, attempting to deal with the ramifications of her discoveries and losses in the last novel. Trying to cope with the recent deaths of her best friend and boyfriend is a big enough challenge. The pressure of understanding and accepting her new identity

Ms. Miller’s writing is still great in this story. I enjoy her descriptions and her character depictions. With that being said, that still doesn’t mean I enjoyed all of her characters. There were more characters that were introduced and I though they brought more depth in this story than the first book.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review for LoP. This is a review of the first two books of the series. The author grabs us and pulls us into the life of young Ella from the very beginning. The story is touching and the characters believable. It moves along fluidly most of the time. Sometimes we get a little information overload which could be presented better. A little too much alcohol consumption by underage juveniles for the YA audience in my opinion. In reality they’d be dead ...more

After having loved The Wanderers, I didn't enjoy this as much. Still a really good book but I have to say I miss Tristan, I loved him in the first book and kept hoping he might make an appearance as some of her other friends did.

Although this book was a little bit slow, it was still good. This book was good and funny, but a few of the morals were off. There were also plenty of times that I just wanted to yell at Ella. In the sequel to the Wanderers Ella picks up her life, having to say good bye to Tristan and Josie and heads off to school once more. At school Ella discovers new friends and new powers. At school she has to meet up once again with her worst nightmare. The ending was once again a cliff hanger, but not as b ...more

I live in a fantasy world and have an over active imagination. But the best part about that is I never stop creating new characters and new stories to share. I love writing and expressing myself in a way that everyone else can enjoy as well. I work in the salon most days, but when i'm not doing hair, I'm writing or reading.
