You know how we are taught that two wrongs don't make a right? Well, Syke couldn't have given us more of a paradox here in Alluring Infatuation! Oh man, ok so far Alluring Seduction has been my favorite book of the Bayou Stix series, until now. Now I can't pick one, which is not a bad thing because I order all of these books in paperback as well, lol!
Dade Rodrigue is your go to rock in the crazy, often chaotic world of the Bayou Stix family. He's the adviser, the guy everyone looks up to, the one who helps with everyone's problems. Now Dade has in own set of problems that come with a set of great legs. Being on the other side of fence is new to him and he may be a little lost. I guess it's his turn to let his friends throw some advice his way.
Dr. Melonie Bird is ready to let her hair down just a bit, especially after she realizes how much she's forgotten to be herself for the last, oh, 6 years or so. Mel has no idea just how much is in store for her once the letting of the hair down commences! Boy oh boy the surprises that are store for her when she begins to get tangled up in the insanely famous rock band, Bayou Stix.
So how in the world are a doctor and a rock star supposed to hook up? What about all the secrets that have been kept? And then add in some awkward ties to people they both know.... talk about a roller coaster! This was such a fun and sex book to read and I'm pretty bummed there is only one more to look forward to, but believe me when I say it will be read as well! Get with the sexy, funny ways of the deep south! Warning, you may want an iced tea with this one!

You will remember that we first met Dr Melonie Bird during Alluring Temptation, and found out that Melonie and Dade knew each other right at the end of that book - and wow, wasn't that explosive!!

I loved the instant spark between Dade and Melonie... or should we call her Rayne? From the minute they saw each other across the pool it was hot hot HOT! I mean you seriously get proximity burns from being in the same room as them! The scenes on St John's were beautiful and sexy and fun.
I loved the play between them. It is not all just about the sex - which is smokin' - but they genuinely are interested in each other. But neither is 100% honest with the other, which frustrated me no end! They are so into each other, so imperfectly perfect for each other, and they are sabotaging things right from the start.
Dade is the one in his motley crew of friends who they all seek for stability. He is all about his family and friends. But Melonie has him all out of whack. I love that he is all aflutter over her. Although he is wonderful with his family, he has seemed a little aloof when it comes to relationships before, but now it is a new Dade we see. I loved the insanely jealous Dade (though in real life it would drive me insane!!)
I was so happy that they got to reconnect. Although I wanted to slap them both for being so stubborn and not talking to each other, talking out their issues, I was glad that they didn't jump straight back into what they had on the island. No matter how much they were attracted to each other, I felt that they needed to get to know each other in the "real world" to see if what they experienced on the island was more than just a fling.
So, is real life enough good for them, can they get through the differences in their lives and get the HEA they both crave?
Nuh uh you will have to read for yourself to find out.
The whole crew is back in Alluring Infatuation. All of his band mates, their partners, their friends. They are a fantastic group of friends. All up in each other's business, the first to make fun of each other, but the first and fiercest to defend each other too.
Ms Turner has created a group of people that feel extremely real to the reader. Yes, the guys may be famous, but you don't get that feeling about them, they feel like the guys you went to school with, the ones who live down the street or you see at the pub on a Friday night.
And every book in this series just keeps getting better and better. I think that Alluring Infatuation is my favourite in the series so far - but I have loved each and every single one!
Now I am all impatient for Cruz's story!
Oh, and after reading Alluring Infatuation, you won't be able to look a Hummer the same way again!!

This Fourth book in the Bayou Stix series gives us the story of Dade and Melonie. Dade is the level-headed one of the band. He is the one everyone else looks up to and goes to for advice. It is his turn to have his story told and find his HEA...will this be it?
Melonie and Dade meet on vacation, but aren’t quite honest with each other regarding who they really are. Sparks fly from the moment they each notice the other and that vacation turns into something unexpected for both, even though he is not Melonie’s type. Geez, those scenes with them were so HOT, especially that time on the beach… An emergency pulls Dade away without any way of reaching Melonie and she believes he just abandoned her.
When they see each other again, he realizes she’s actually his sister Clove’s OB/GYN and she learns he’s a Rocker and Clove’s brother. Drama ensues, of course (we wouldn’t have a good book without it) and their dealings with each other when discussing their issues are sometimes funny, but mostly SCORCHING! Their chemistry is beyond strong and the scene in the HUMMER will definitely require that you have a fan, some towels, and extra panties handy.
Skye has once again succeeded in giving us a fantastic story, and although all the books can be read as standalones, there is no reason you’d want to do that. Reading them in order gives you glimpses into the lives of each character and how they keep interacting with each other. Melonie and Dade are another of Skye’s couples who you’d wish you could meet. I don’t know that Dade can replace my Jessie as my favorite, but he sure is giving him a run for his money.
Now, bring on Cruz!!!

Dade is the guitarist for the band. He goes on a trip to an exotic place to get away. When he arrives he catches a sight of a beautiful lady. He can't get her off his mind, he goes to a club and finds her there. Dade walks up to her and they hit it off. Melonie has just hit a milestone in her life. She went on this getaway to relax. They both don't tell the truth on this vacation and Dade gets called away for a family emergency. He packs up and leaves without a goodbye. When he checks in on Clove with her appointment, he finds out Melonie is her doctor. They go through hell and back to get to each other but will it work out for a rocker and a doctor? This is an amazing installment to this series. Can't wait for Cruz.

This is Dade and Melonie's book.
Book #4 in the Bayou Stix Series.
I say yes that you can read this as a stand alone, but why would you want to, this is an amazing series that needs to be read from book one to get everything out of it!
Skye has done it once again. Each book in this series I say this i my favorite. BUT I will honestly say that she out did herself with Dade. He is such a magnificent man. He is caring and understanding. He watches out for everyone else and puts them before he would even think about putting himself first. He loves his family and his band members, and is just an upstanding guy all around.
Melonie is just what he needs. He is just what Melonie needs.
A chance encounter on an island vacation has them meeting and getting to know each other. They both feel the attraction and feel like a little fling on vacation is just what they need. What they both didn't expect was for the other to get under each others skin the way that they did.
A few things happen, and some misunderstandings occur. Melonie is a hard nut to crack and has been hurt before so being hurt again is something she is not willing to let happen. BUT if both of these characters would just let love in a little bit it is going to explode. BOY DOES IT~ these two set the pages on fire even when they aren't having sex. They are a match made perfectly. They complete the other and add nothing but positive things to each others lives.
Come along for the ride as Dade and Melonie learn to let each other in, learn to put themselves first and let love take over.
The sex scenes are hot, but I do have to say that this whole book is hot! The connection that these two share almost instantly is unforgettable.
The other + to this book is that all the other characters and couples from the other books are very much a big part of this book. We get a glimpse into how the other couples are doing and what is coming up next!
This is a series you don't want to miss! So get a coffee and a comfy pillow and pick them up, there are 5 books out right now. Each one getting better and better!

There are times when a long, drawn out review should be written and others when I prefer to get straight to the point and leave it short and simple. And, this is one of those times when a long review isn't needed. Alluring Infatuation is the BEST book written by Skye Turner to date!!!
Melonie and Dade, oh my!! What a love story they have. We meet the two of them while they are on vacation and of course, she has no idea that he is a mega star. Everything seems to be going well, until one of them has to unexpectedly leave the island and go back to reality. Through pure coincidence, their paths cross again and it is explosive (and I don't mean that in a good way) and realistic!! Once the surprise, shock, and anger wear off the real fireworks begin between the two!
The build up of the relationship between Dade and Melonie is quite realistic. They are two fictional characters that are used to holding back because they are afraid of letting their guard down and getting hurt. Dade serves as a reminder that no matter if you are a celebrity or a regular person, the one thing we are looking for is someone who is interested in more than our exterior and take the time to see what is on the inside.
I love how Skye ties in the characters from the previous books into this one and we get a sense that Bayou Stix is more than a band. They are a family. With this being said, Skye gives us a glimpe into the next storyline which will feature my favorite band member, Cruz!!!!
I've read every book from Alluring Turmoil to this newest release by Skye and it is so nice to see her progression as a writer. It has gotten much cleaner, crisp, and her descriptive skills have soared. She has demonstrated the ability to write drama, humor, romance, and some steamy sex scenes all flawlessly! If you don't believe me, just wait until you get to the Hummer scene in Alluring Infatuation!!!

Dade and Melonie are by far my Favorite couple of the Bayou Stix Pairings!
Melonie, a doctor, just out of a 7-year long relationship, just wants to have some fun! And who better to have fun with than the sexy Tattooed stranger she meets while on vacation.
Dade, the drummer for Bayou Stix, Just needs a break from the fighting going on between Liam and Clove, so he goes on vacation. What happens there will have you reaching for a fan, a cool drink, and possibly a change of panties.
Of course there’s drama, what book would be complete without it? However, this drama is more real than most books, It didn’t have me rolling my eyes, and it certainly wasn’t predictable!
The chemistry between these two is scorching! I will never look at leather seats the same way again!! (Want to know what I’m talking about…. READ the book!)
My Favorite thing about this series is that although you COULD read them each as standalones, (I have no idea why you’d want to) you continue to get glimpses of all of your favorite characters in each book, their stories continue! You don’t get that in other series.
I really believe Mrs. Turner outdid herself with this one!!! I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

This is Book four from the Bayou stix - featuring Dade and Melonie's Story. It is my favorite so far in the series I think ( but lets face all those Bayou Stix boys are pretty awesome!)
Right from the start sparks FLY for the couple and they just run with it. Then they head back to reality and all hell breaks loose. Melonie life is full of order and she can not Date a rock star!! Can she? Dade is always the one helping his fellow rockers with their lives..when is his turn to share his life with someone he has begun to wonder since all his bandmates are following their hearts.
Taking a break from their lives for some fun in the sun ..they both head to the tropics for R and R. They meet and Right from the start sparks FLY for the couple and they just run with it. Then they head back to reality and all hell breaks loose. The pull in the relationship really keeps you invested their story and the sex is off the charts hot which certainly adds to their amazing story. The same great cast of characters that we all have grown to love steps in to help Dade and Melonie fulfill their destiny. It really was a great read that keep me turning the pages quicker and quicker to see what was coming.

Skye Turner has done it again. This book was Amazing. Each book she writes gets HOTTER & HOTTER. This is book 4 of The Bayou Stix Series. Dade and Melonie both decided they need a break from their very busy lives, with Dade being the bass guitarist for Bayou Stix and Melonie being a very successful OB/GYN. So they both go to a tropical island. From the moment their eyes meet, they can't take their eyes off one another. Dade is so not Melonie's type but, the spark between them are just too strong to ignore. They spend a lot of time together and the chemistry between these two is off the charts. Some things happen, but I don't want to give any details away, but oh it's good stuff. I loved every minute of reading this book. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I love Skye writing style it makes me feel like I'm right there with these characters I love so much. I'll like to say Thank You to Skye Turner you have gave your readers another Fantastic Book. If you haven't read this series I highly recommend you do.

Let me start off by giving you a warning. DO NOT READ IN PUBLIC! It will lead to panties melting off and have you blushing like crazy!
Dade and Melonie's story is HOT HOT HOT!
Dade is amazing and probably one of my favorite Bayou Stix boys yet! Sorry Jessie! Dade is the bassist for Bayou Stix and decided it was time for some R&R, well he got his R&R and a bit more. Melonie definitely doesn't go for types like Dade and really stepped out of her comfort zone for this one. They have their ups and downs as anyone would!

Another great one from Skye. The play between the characters was enough to keep you invested but not too over the top to make you roll your eyes. Of course there was the obligatory misunderstanding/blow up but it fit well with the emotions. It was just right. I love my HEAs but I know their story isn't finished.

Dade and the Doc. They are so perfect for each other. If they can just use the brains they both have they will be great. I loved how easily this story flowed and how love grew and they worked through it all.

Skye Turner’s Bayou Stix series is one sexy set of rocker books, and her newest release, Alluring Infatuation, definitely brings the steam that readers have come to expect. Dade and Melonie’s story explores the magnetic connection between them that started on an island vacation and then picks up once they realize that the person they thought they’d never see again was much closer than they would have ever realized.
Dade’s always been the one to take care of everyone else in the band as well as his friends and sister, so when he takes some time for himself by going on vacation, he thinks he’ll finally have some time to relax and put himself first for once, and boy does he. I really enjoyed reading Dade and Melonie’s story, but it also frustrated the hell out of me. I absolutely understand Melonie’s concerns about making a relationship work when their lives seem to be so different, but the fact that neither she nor Dade can verbalize their apprehensions and say the things that need to be said drove me nuts. I love that the whole Bayou Stix gang work to help Dade and Melonie make their relationship work and show Melonie that all the hype of being a rock star is not what’s most important. Anytime readers can catch up with characters we’ve grown to love is an added bonus. And, I can’t wait for Cruz’s story – that’s a lot about him that we aren’t aware of and I look forward to hearing about his backstory.

Dade is the dependable, go-to, always there for you member of the Bayou Stix. Lately his band mates, their women, and his sister have put him through some serious stress. He is in desperate need of some down time and that’s exactly what he does. Dade heads off to a tropical paradise and before he even steps into his hotel, a blonde bombshell catches his eyes. Settling into his room, he decides the sexy blonde just might be the perfect distraction while on vacation.
Melanie was all set to get married with the man she had been with for 9 years. Finally realizing that they had grown apart, they called off the engagement. You know that scene at the end of book 3 , yup the hallway , Dade , Rayne....ya right there you know that Dade's book is going to be super hot and you just have to know how they know each other and what their story is !!
Dade has always been the rock , the level headed go to guy for advice and really anything for the whole band and family. He has taken care of his bandmates and baby sister for years always neglecting himself. So on vacation alone he indulges in himself and the hot blonde he sees at the pool !! Dade ends up leaving St John in a rush for home when his sister needs. Shortly after he realizes he has no way to contact rayne and he is pissed. He enjoyed her and wanted to get to know her long term.
Melonie is in St. John celebrating her non marriage to one of her best friends. They love each other but they were no longer in love. Never in her wildest dreams could she imagine meeting and getting crazy with someone like Dade , but damn he is fine and she is willing !! When he takes off she has no clue why and it burns a lot. Then one night at an event for one of her patients worlds collide , secrets come out and lives are changed !!
It may take Dade time to recover a bit from the sting of Melonie lying but when these two come together DAMN it is HOT. Their journey is a bit slow , not sure what they are but knowing they definitely have a connection sexually. I love the inner monologue , OMG it is hysterical and I felt connected to them both through it. I loved knowing the chaos going on in their heads when faced with the feelings they felt. Both struggling with their busy lives and trust can make it difficult to have a healthy relationship. Will Dade's life as a rocker and Melonie's busy schedule as a DR be their downfall ?? Can Melonie handle Dade's lifestyle ?? Can Dade handle Melonie's past ?
On top of this wonderful and HOT story of Dade and Mel we get tons more of the whole gang !! Liam and Clove's pregnancy journey , group outings , girls nights and lots of funniness we have come to love from the Bayou gang !! It also gets us nice and cozy set up for Cruz and his story !! I suggest anyone who loves a hot rocker go buy this book , it is a must if you have read the others and if not a MUST to start from the beginning !!

Since i have read the novels proceeding this one I looked forward to it. This is one author that knows how to write and must say with each novel gets more intriguing for me the reader wondering can it get any better? Her style is her own and she takes each couple featured and turns them into a combustional read. As each couple gets their own she also builds more onto what is happening with the others like it was only yesterday. I myself like that in a series. I think this one is going to be my favorite though because through it all we have seen this brother and good friend be there for them all but now he is having his time.Who knew time away for Dade would enable him to encounter the woman who could capture him but in a blink he has to return home for his sister but alas she is like dust in the wind with no way of finding her. Melonie has a adventure that comes from a cancelled wedding but waste not want not takes the trip anyways that is when she encounters one fine man who fills her days and nights. She is left thinking though he has deserted her for all the wrong reasons in her mind but her surprise will be that man in group at the mansion and also revealed is she is not whom he thought she was but actually her sister's doctor. Oh boy like I said she so knows how to write em. Of course I have and did enhale this gem of a novel because no way was I not going to miss out on Dade and Melonie's ride of their lives experiencing their relationship's ups and downs and go arounds. By now I feel that these characters have been brought to life by her talent that the intensity and raw emotion given to each of these is at times explosive. Dade has the heart and soul any girl would melt for and seeing him finally get love is awww icing on the cake. Melonie is quite the firecracker herself that these two combined were not a dull moment for sure. Well having taken this ride all the way to the end loving every minute,fix satisfied for a minute-now wait for another fine one from this author.

5 SEXY STARS!
Finally! After the introduction to Dade and Melonie in the last book of this series, I totally wanted to know Dade's story because the man is just yummy! And let me tell you ladies, it did not disappoint!
I loved this book. It was sweet, sexy, naughty, real, and downright delicious. I loved Bayou Stix and the books just keep getting better and better though I still think Liam and Clove are my favorites. I loved seeing the boys and girls from this group and how much their lives are changing. I cannot believe that Cruz's books is going to be the last in this series. I am super sad but I know this author will have amazing things for us in the future!

Skye Turner, you've done it again! Each book in this series is just as good as the one before it! The best part of this series for me is that there is NO cheating and NO cliff-hangers! Each book tells the story of one of the band members, while continuing with the previous characters. My favorite kind of series, and the only kind I will read.
I really identify with Ms. Turner's writing style. It's real, it's believable...it's life. As you're reading, you feel like you are right there on the sidelines - as a member of the crowd. You want to hang out with them. They are a great group of people. They laugh, they love and they have fun!
What a combination a rock star and an obstetrician make. Opposites truly do attract, and Alluring Infatuation proves it. I have been curious about Dade's story from book one. I really enjoyed getting to know him better, as well as catching up with the rest of the gang. Ms. Turner really has created a family with the Bayou Stix series. I can't wait to read about Cruz and Tiffanie in the final book. It will be bittersweet to have to tell them goodbye, though I'm sure there will be something wonderful coming in the future.

Fun Schmexy, Romantic, HOT, Funny, Sad.... Spectacular!!
Those are the words that come to my mind when I think about Dade and Melonie. Both on vacation looking for rest relaxation and nothing but fun, but what they find is something far better than what they bargained for. An emergency and no communication separates them, then comes the anger and bitterness.
Imagine a reunion based where you are stressed out over your sister only to find that the person you were looking for is their helping her. Imagine her surprise when she sees the man she had been fantasizing about since the moment he left her, as she is tending to her pregnant patient. Yes... FIREWORKS & Explosions! It was interesting to read how they overcame these problems/obstacles. And yeah reading how they made up was extremely HOT!
They are simply made for each other and yes they know it but they fight it, and that ladies is why this book what I liked about this book. Was it love at first sight? No it was lust with fireworks a connection they couldn't explain. Was the reunion blissful? No but her that made it real, he had to chase her and they both had to open themselves up to the possibilities. Real the stories of the Bayou Stix men is not just hot romance but, HOT real Romance filled with Angst filled with doubt and insecurities... REAL. Dade Rodrigue is really tired right now. Tired of his roommates constant fighting, tired of taking care of everyone, tired of being just a conquest in another groupie's mind. He desperately needs a break and that's what the levelheaded, bass guitarist for Bayou Stix is going to get. Dr. Melonie Bird, OB/GYN extraordinaire likes her ducks in a row. Or so she thought. Unfortunately, they both kept secrets and not knowing who the other was made it impossible to see if this affair could ever be anything more than a broken heart waiting to happen. Except, life is funny and the world isn't as big a place as you expect when you live in Louisiana... Melonie and Dade's story is sweet, beyond sexy and deals with long lasting issues of commitment, insecurity, poor communication, friendship and love. As with the other Bayou Stix tales, Skye Turner turns up the heat when it comes to romance and her rockers. Add to it the strong bonds of love and friendship between all the other band members, their mates and friends and Dade's story is even better. Can't wait for Cruz's tale to come...

Good gravy I LOVE this series. I do believe Dade is my new favorite Bayou Stix man...
Dade is the "together" one of the group. The big brother, the thinker, the fixer, the one in control. He is the go to guy that takes care of everyone, including his baby sister Clove. He is the protector. He is fierce. He will take your back and when needed lead the way. But he is tired and needs a break... so off on vacation he goes... little did he know how his life would change.
Melonie is well known baby doctor. Strong. Beautiful. Self sufficient. She has a thriving practice and stays on the go. When she ends up on a solo vacation, she didn't know she would meet the man that would turn her world upside down.
Dade and Melonie are fantastic together. Buring up the pages, Dade absolutely knows his way around a woman. *fans self* He is my kind of lover. Holy Moly make sure you have the ice cubes ready. I think this is by far the raciest book of the series.
Dade and Melonie have a rough road. Im torn because I really want to get into it, but I dont want to do spoilers, so Im kinda stuck between a rock and a hard spot. I wasnt sure how it would play out, and I was caught by surprise more than once. And the entire book is a lesson on the importance of communication.
Now... where is Cruz?????

Alluring Infatuation was a great installment to the Bayou Stix series. The electric spark between Dade and Melonie when they first laid eyes on each other did nothing but grow and the sizzling chemistry between them flowed through the pages. Unfortunately, while the sex scenes were hot, the romance was not. It really felt like Dade treated Melonie like a sex buddy and she was okay with it. The fact that he was able to take a trip and not speak to her once...instead spending his time flirting, hanging out and "appreciating" other women bothered me. The minute he's back in town, he's calling her up, jumping into bed with her and she never questions anything! I realize that they weren't a couple at that point but they never discussed the status of their relationship and she instead just went with the flow. The communication between them could have been better. A lot of their story involved conversations with others or themselves and not so much the two of them interacting unless it was sexual. Even though I enjoyed catching up with the other members of the band, I would have liked more from Dade and Melonie as a couple. Not sure why I never felt the connection between them but overall I have enjoyed this series. Looking forward to the final book, Cruz and Tifanie's story!

Dade's story was a little different than his other band members because Rayne has no idea how famous he is back home. They meet on vacation and the moment they see each other, it's an instant attraction. Spending 8 days together, Dade is called home because his sister is in the hospital. Dropping everything, he remembers to let Rayne know he is leaving when he realizes he has no way to contact her and the name she gave is not at the hotel. Miffed he heads home to take care of his emergency.
Rayne feels betrayed that the one time she has a fling, the guy stands her up just when they were starting something real. When she runs into Dade at a celebrity event and finds out who he is, she is not certain she can open her heart to being hurt again.
Dade has always been the responsible one, can he focus on his own happiness for a chance at love?
This story was different then the others and I love variety. The way each member of the band grows up from being a wild rock stars into grownups ready for a relationship. Awesome Read!!

Another brilliant instalment in this amazing series. I couldn't put the book down and devoured every page in one sitting - just a shame I started it so late at night!
This book focuses on Dade. After meeting a beautiful girl on his break from the band Dade hasn't been able to get her off his mind. A dramatic departure from his holiday Dade is desperate to reach Rayne and pick up where they left off but every line of enquiry draws a blank. After running into each other again a shock discovery makes them both realise that they've lied to each other. Will they be able to forgive each other?
All the usual characters make an appearance which adds to the fun and games. I can't stress how much I enjoyed this story. I love these characters and can't wait for the last instalment due later this year. I can't say that I'm in a rush to say goodbye to these characters and will probably reread this series many times.
