A great compilation of Chesterton. The sheer length of this book is a testament to how pithy Chesterton's writing is. Nearly 400 pages of quote after quote, and, amazingly, at least half of them are good!
This book is a small, introductory window into the mind and convictions of Chesterton. Readers can enjoy reading his thought-provoking opinions on matters ranging from light to controversial topics. It's also not uncommon to be met with humour in the middle of a "controversial" or conviction-filled opinion. Aesthetically, the book has a simple layout, pages don't come across as "busy" with content, and all quotes are organized into alphabetical, topical order. It's a fun book to skim through, especially if you're looking for perspectives to think about and/or challenge.
