قلم رولد دال کلا خیلی ساده و شیرینه. بچه بودم کتاب‌هاش رو میخوندم. الانم این داستان‌های کوتاهی که برای بزرگسالان بود رو خوندم و جالب بود.
داستان آخرش مخصوصا بامزه و شوکه کننده بود.

رولد دال به کتاب‌های کودک و نوجوانش شناخته می‌شود و اگر آن کتاب‌ها را خوانده باشید قلم تند و تیز و ترسناک و سهم‌گین او برای شما آشنا است. من انتظار داستان‌های خوبی از رولد دال برای بزرگسالان نداشتم اما شگفت‌زده شدم. هنوز قدرت رولد دال در این داستن‌ها به وضوح مشخص است و در یک طرح ساده چنان تو را درگیر می‌کند که مدام فکر می‌کنی آخرش چه خواهد شد. هنوز همان قلم تند و گاهاً چسارت‌آمیز در این داستان‌ها هست و هنوز طرح‌هایی که به ظاهر احمقانه هستند اما توانسته در همین چند صفحه آن‌ها را به شکلی جذاب ارائه دهد. چه داستان‌خوان باشید و چه نه! این کتاب‌ها (مجموعا! چهار جلد) برای شما جذاب و متفاوت است.
