Helen Stothard is a straight talking northern lass, wife, mother to one, servant to two cats and a Twitter addict who started her own business in 2009 and has never looked back.

She enjoys writing business books but has always had a hankering to write her own work of fiction. In the meantime she spends her time helping authors self publish their work as well as supporting other business owners, helping them focus on moving their businesses forward whilst also saving them time and money.

When she is not working, she likes to pretend she's a runner (albeit a slow one), spends time reading books on Kindle, working and playing on her iPad and generally being a gadget geek, as well as spending time with her loved ones.

As a VA of nearly 10 years standing I have found this book to be invaluable. Although much of it is information that I already knew it is very useful having such a straightforward guide to refer to.

I have to say as well that it is easy to get stuck in a rut of doing the same old things and this book is a useful reminder to do things I may not have thought of recently or indeed forgotten to do.

Certainly for a novice VA I would say this is essential reading.

This is definitely a 'how to set up for dummies' which if you don't use any social media or know anything about websites etc is ok. If you are already considering setting up as a virtual assistant you would be more technically savvy than this book is aimed at.
