An inspiring true story that just had to be told.
From Dust to Dust and a Lifetime in Between is the story of an incredible, ordinary life. Perhaps made all the more incredible because it was so ordinary.

This book is based on a true story and it shows as the author writes the characters so well. The main character, Mollie, is written with such insight and her life is a joy to read. Her family members and the experiences she had are engaging and the book is a roller coaster ride of emotions.

It’s unusual for me to read a book so quickly but I finished this one in 3 days. It’s a page turner that sweeps the reader into another world.

The only criticism I have is that I liked

A lovely book, which depicts the life and love of Mollie. The author's writing style is quite charming and helps you to stay in touch with the storyline without getting sidetracked by too many fancy phrases. The story is very touching and does not just make for a good read, but also has enough potential for a romantic movie. The fact that its a true story makes it all the more interesting to read than if it were just a fictional character.

Certain parts are very well written and extremely poignant. I particularly appreciated the skill of the writing in the nightmarish cancer dream sequences and the final chapters, seen through Molly's eyes as she slowly loses her sense of personality and memories to dementia. These scenes are very potent and will haunt me long after finishing the book.

But other parts seemed overly self-pitying and depressing. Molly has some tough breaks, but no more than the average person on the street, so it

A true story inspired Katherine Anne Lee to take up professional writing. From Dust to Dust and a Lifetime in Between is her first novel about a dramatic life story taking place in Church Stretton, England. It's a time journey starting in the 1920ies and ending 96 years later. The story touches hearts, makes space to feel and puts topics like cancer and dementia in a never seen perspective.
