Rating: 3/5 or 6/10

Age range: Y2-Y3

Like: Interesting story which engages and creates curiosity.
Dislike: Leaves the students possibly puzzled as there are random jumps within the story

Suitability:
- Develop independent and imaginative thinking
- Possibly for creative purposes

Plot: There's an injured tiger with a bad leg and a cut on its paw. A boy seeks shelter from the storm and stumbles upon the tiger laying in a cave. The boy aided the tiger by taking the hook off which was embedded in the tiger's paw. Randomly, the boy's dad is out with him and they discover the tiger caught in a net, hanging from a tree. His dad happens to be a police officer that catches the 'bad men' whom attempt to take the tiger for a rug. The child informs his father that they should set the tiger free. The Boy And The Tiger
