This is an amazing read. It is full of emotions, tragedies, advices and life long lessons. This book showcases the love, brutality, lust, greed, illegal ethics, and artificial behaviors of people through out the short stories in the book. This book proves the diversity, simplicity, vastness, openness, beautifulness, wholeness, and perfectness of Islam. Islam is the only religion which provides solution for the problems of whole mankind if they are properly following it. It guides us in every moment of life whether we are happy or sad, rich or poor, white or black, king or servent. If we submit our will to God Almighty (Allah), He Almighty solves all our problems. So, when one needs help or guidance, he must ask to God Almighty who has the power to do so.
Raza Hayat, a psychological professor, is a masterclass in deception. He presents himself as a respectable figure, treating girls with a facade of kindness and respect, only to manipulate and trap them in his web of deceit.
Nimra Ahmed's writing expertly exposes the sinister intent behind Raza's charming exterior, serving as a poignant reminder that appearances can be deceiving. انسان کو عزازیل سے ابلیس بننے میں ذرا دیر نہیں لگتی
*Iblis* by Nimra Ahmed is a short yet impactful novel that highlights a pressing social issue in Pakistani universities. The story revolves around the dark reality of harassment cases, where some professors manipulate female students by exploiting their academic ambitions. The novel sheds light on the unethical and illegal demands placed upon students who seek good grades, portraying the harsh truth of corruption and abuse of power in educational institutions. This novel serves as a mirror to the injustices faced by many female students in public universities. By crafting a compelling narrative, she exposes the hidden dangers lurking behind seemingly respectable individuals. The book is not just a story but a lesson, warning readers to be vigilant and cautious in their academic environments. This book left a deep impression on me because of its realistic and unsettling portrayal of university harassment cases. It is disturbing to see how some professors misuse their authority, and *Iblis* serves as a much-needed reminder that this issue exists and must be addressed. The final message of the novel, which warns students to remain observant and cautious, is particularly impactful. It teaches that behind every seemingly kind or naive personality, there may be a hidden predator. Nimra Ahmed has done a tremendous job in bringing this dark reality to light, and her effort to spread awareness through literature is commendable. It is a must-read for young women studying in public universities, as it serves as both a warning and a guide to recognizing manipulation. While the novel is short, its message is strong and relevant.
It's Nimrah, me and my undying love for her. No matter how many books of Umerah I read I need to come back to her. Idk what she has done to me but from JKP to Namal , she hasn't just given me stories but Art to look after. Ibless is a short story by Nimrah and oh boy! The way she talks about these socially important matters that people hesitate to talk about is mesmerizing. The way Nimrah has her way of showing that no matter how much knowledge of Allah and his deen you get , you can get lost anytime. Professor Raza made me think of Paristey from Mushaf too. And if there is one thing I would personally like to add to this review is “ Allah ke Alawa kar mohabbat ko zawal hai ”
Nemrah Ahmad's Novel always have uniques perspective and written so delicately to give you life lessons. But this novel really knock your head to think about what is coming to you and how you are reacting to it whether its advice or help or life lessons. It really written so well by Nemrah. Its kind of novellet. Wonderful imagery
Totally disappointed. The style of writing is not like other novels of her. This novel has 5 different stories all of them have incomplete endings. 1star from me🙃
