Strange but true stories is a book about the unexplained disappearance of people and unexplained murders of people. The book includes a number of different stories with these topics.
For example the bell witch it is a story about john bell and his wife in 1804 he moved his wife and children from north carolina to adams tennessee. they settled on a farm trouble began to happen john’s neighbor accused John of cheating in a business deal before she died, she said I will get even with you then one day in 1817 John was walking in his field when a strange animal came to him he shot it but then smoke came and covered the animal when the smoke disappeared so did the animal.
I think there is nothing wrong with this book I could not stop reading it the book did a good job keeping me hooked. if you like the unexplained or creepy this is the book for you.

At first I thought Strange But True Stories was not going to be scary, but I was wrong. The Mothman was one of the most scary for my because I was reading at night and had to go outside. This is the scariest book I have ever read. I wish to find more of the books from the series.

Without frills just thrills you'll read about Lizzie Borden, EVP (electronic voice phenomenon), the Bell Witch, the Mothman Mystery, shadow wolves, Lost Roanoke Colony, the real Sherlock Holmes, Burke and Hare, the body snatchers, Robert, the evil doll and some more mysteries of history. No photos inside but entertaining and captivating. Easy does it. Recommended!
