A steady stream of meaningless sex is all Tristan has left when he discovers the grandmother who raised him is dying and his best friend is getting married. He is lost; and the dark secrets in his p ...more
Love Tristan so much more than I ever thought I would! In the other previous books, you just want to love to hate him! But, he's scarred. Tainted. No one knows his past. He's just trying to do the right thing when it comes to his family. And, when he meets Senia, she just empowers him to be a better man, which is not normal for him. No way is he a one-woman man! This is so f**ked up! He doesn't give a shit what women think of him! But, she makes him whole. He wants to be th ...more
Oh how I love Cassia Leo's stories as well as her writing. They are emotional, funny, realistic and heartwarming.
While you can read Abandon without reading the Shattered Hearts series, I recommend reading the series so you will be able to meet all the characters that are in Abandon. This is Senia and Tristan's story.
Two people who couldn't be more perfect for one another.
The day our wires crossed, You were broken, I was lost.
Tristan is Chris's best frie
Reading Abandon, we realize Tristan is a totally different guy than what we considered him before. Once we see what he’s hiding under his tough guy act, we get to know and see Tristan for who he really is, and we learn hi ...more
I will be honest, I didn't like Tristan when I read "Relentless', Pieces of You and 'Bring me home'. I didn't hate him, but didn't like him. I judged him before getting to know him. Maybe Claire's fault. LOL Now, I'm totally in love with him. Now I understand the way he is. I did suffer and cried reading his story.
As usual Cassia Leo wrote something special. Something wonderful. A great story with everything you need ⇰ Love, Lust, Fr ...more
I must say I thought the writing was good and the storyline had a good premise. I struggled and ultimately gave up because I felt there were too many things going on and quite a few characters introduced, it all got a bit confusing.
“… love isn’t about fixing things or people. It’s about sticking around when things can’t be fixed.”
Sometimes the scars that we carry from our pasts mark us, block us, define us for the rest of our lives, and sometimes all we need is one little push to set us on a course of self-acceptance and absolution. This is a story of one such journey, a story of a man trapped in a self-deploring cycle of bad decisions and utter disregard for the consequences of his actions, and ultimately, his escape ...more
The Shattered Heart Series is one of my favorites. The moment I read Relentless, Cassia Leo had sucked me in. I didn’t think any of her books would top Chris and Claire but boy was I wrong! Abandon just became my number one book of hers and I absolutely LOV ...more

Cassia Leo has once again given us a story that profoundly affected me emotionally. I went through every emotion during the course of this story and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of Tristan’s story.
Tristan lives up to the brooding musician persona but there is so much more to him than meets the eye. Beneath Tristan’s abrasive exterior is a lost soul whose world is suddenly interrupted with a few significant events. He is a boy who had his childhood torn from him ...more

This is not an easy read at times, as we get glimpses of Tristans life when he was growing up. It's sickening the things he went through and goes to explain his attitude to life now.
He has no one apart from his Gran and young sister to care about him, and therefore he cares about nothing except them. Sometimes even they aren't enough to chase his demons away though ...more
I have to say that I am a little bummed that Tristan's story was written as a companion novel when it could have been so much more in depth. I am thinking I liked this story maybe even more than the first three Shattered Hearts.
I was sucked right into the story and found myself desperately wanting more. It was short and sweet and had just enough drama & darkness to keep me wondering what would be revealed chapter after chapter. It could have gone on and on and ...more

I loved Seina and Tristan from the mention of them in the third book. For me they were just adorable. It was obvious from the start that Tristan was falling for Seina but their story through out was cute. Don't get misled by my words. Theirs is not sugary sweet, not even sweet as Chris and Claire and we all know that their wasn't a sweet ride. Seina and Tristan don't actually start of ...more
I liked how Tristan changed for Senia, but he kind of did that in the previous book too...
So this book wasn’t a perfect sequel to the orher.
Can’t wait for Abbygails story!
