First I want to say I loved this book, however I want more. It so easily could have been turned into a trilogy and I'm kind of sad it wasn't. At the very least there should have been an epilogue!!!! Still a great heart warming read that was very funny.

I mean, it felt like it from the prologue! Well, it's not. Yeah, there's a lot of sex of all kinds, but it's a really sweet story about two people falling in love.

Something amazing is happening — something meaningful and real.

First I want to say that this was beautiful writing - I was drinking up every sentence. Absolutely beautiful. I haven't read this author before, but the way she writes, it pulls you into the story and you lose yourself in it.
I loved the whole concept of this - playing the player. That's brilliant. It's written in dual POV, and the author manages to give two distinct voices to Kendall and Cruise.
And it has everything, steam, love, a little bit of drama, it's laced with wonderful humor, there's a villainous ex-girlfriend you love to hate.
Yeah, there are a lot of sex scenes but I was surprised they were more descriptive in that tasteful way rather than graphic. It is most definitely not smut, and I apologize to the author for making assumptions.

Kendall is so awesome. She is smart, down-to-earth, and has an insane sense of humor. I loved it how she didn't play all high and mighty around Cruise and didn't fight their attraction. She's feisty! And that's exactly what lands her in this little agreement she makes with Cruise. HA! I figured out her agenda right at the beginning.

Oh, Cruise. He has this perverse mind I loved to read! Seriously, some of the things he comes up with... But he's also incredibly sweet and romantic. He didn't over think, panic, or run from falling in love, he just went with it. He's like a nice guy in bad boy disguise. It caught me off guard when I learned the whole truth about Blair - his character made so much sense then!

This is what I imagined love would be like, the beauty of the landscape luring you in then the surprise of the flames as you burn under the guise of your own foolishness.

I'll come right out and say it - there's a bit of too intense, too fast in this! Did it bother me? Absolutely not! It was wonderful. It was also helped by the fact that they don't jump each other's bones the second they meet. Or long after that. It's a feelgood romance, I was grinning like a loon the whole time. I loved that it doesn't end on confessions of true love. You actually get to witness these two as a real, declared couple - something a lot of romance books deprive us of.

I'll say something else, it has another one of my biggest pet-peeves: the big misunderstanding. But it made sense! I just wish they talked more, I have to wonder, do people really go around making assumptions and rash decisions based on what they see without talking (to the person they love) first? Why is this news to me?

The fact that I loved, absolutely loved, this book despite these two things should tell you a lot. About this book. About the author. Read it! ...more

LOVED this book!!! I've had this book in my Kindle for a long while and finally got a chance to reading it. The wait was well worth it but now I'm sad because I didn't want Kenny & Cruise's story to end. Please let there be a sequel, hint, hint!!! This book was surprisingly funny. I loved Kendall. When she first arrives on campus, she's looking for her mother's friend's son so she can get her bags up to her room and escape the insanity of the Frat Party. Plus, one person's eyes have been on her since she walked into the room, and she'd like to escape his intensity. When she finally finds Pennington (unfortunate name, I'd say), he tells her that he forgot to get her a room and now she has no where to stay. Furious, she grabs her bags and starts out the door, wondering what she'll do. Seconds later, her white knight arrives. It's Cruise Elton, playboy, man-whore, cares about no one. He's spent the evening being surrounded by hot girls, but he offers to take Kendall out for a burger. And the romance begins.

Kendall is a riot. She doesn't take any crap from anyone. She got a witty remark for almost anything. She's not looking for love, in fact, she really has no need for it at all. She's watched her mom go through guy after guy and she wants more for herself. I like that she wasn't a perfect heroine, she made some mistakes, some stupid mistakes, but she owned them. Never once did she blame someone else or whine. She took care of her own shit.

Cruise got dumped months ago and every since that moment, he's been the life of the party. He's always up for a good time. He doesn't do relationships, he does one-night-stands, until he meets Kendall. Things start shifting in his head and he begins to wonder if maybe he does believe in love after all. I loved Cruise for so many reasons. He honestly was a good man to Kendall, he worked hard and was ambitious, he rolled with the bumps in the road and never strayed far from her side. He was never controlling or possessive, just caring.

My lovely book group friends have been talking about how we're a little tired of the virgin/bad boy formula that seems to be taking over the market. I was a little unsure about this one, but man, am I ever glad I read it. Addison did a wonderful job with the humor and the pacing of the story that the virgin/bad boy was a small, but important part of the book.

The book is written in first person from both Kendall and Cruise's POV and I loved every moment of it! Both characters are snide and witty. They are the perfect match for each over because neither could pull something past the other. If you're looking for a good, funny, and steamy book, I highly suggest this one! This book captured me from the very beginning. I thought it was going to be one of those Doms and Subs book from the prologue but I was mislead. Cruise was so sweet from the moment he laid eyes on Kenny aka Kendall. Yeah he had the player reputation but deep down he only did it because his last girlfriend ripped his heart out and cheated on him. I highly doubt I would've left with being that I didnt know him from Adam. I loved that he kissed her outside in the snow and they way he held her and asked her. I wanted them to hook up and fall in love from that single moment. I just wished they would have communicated more and went to the source instead of making assumptions. We all know what happens when you make assumptions. As I was reading the book, I didnt feel like their love/lust was rushed. It was until they mentioned Valentine's Day I realize it had only been 3 months since they met. I felt like a whole semester went by.

I like the ending of the book as well but it left me with a few unanswered questions. Did Kendall stay in school or did she quit? Why didnt Lauren and Ally not tell Kendall about Blair being Cruise's ex-girlfriend? Speaking of Lauren and Ally, I didnt trust them due to the fact that the knew Blair was Cruise's ex and didnt say anything to Kendall and they were supposedly her good friends. And why in the world would Lauren want Kendall to hit on her boyfriend Cal to prove if he is cheating or not?? And the fact that Kendall was so quick to tell them (Blair included) her business irritated me a little. Blair used everything Kendall said to her against her and went back to tell Cruise everything. I picked up on her motives the moment she noticed her in the class room. Triflin heffa. LOL!

I will probably end up reading this book again because Cruise was just that sweet. I want to read more about Cruise and Kendall!! ...more

Do not let the cover of this book fool you. It is not trashy, nor is it all about sex. This is a super sweet love story that happens to have quite a bit of heat. There is something about the unique way Addison describes things that added some amazing depth to a story that, if written by most authors, could have easily slipped into silly and cliche.

By the cover you may get the picture that this is New Adult and pretty sexy. With a little bit more of sexy throw in just because Cruise, is to die for. Period.

I totally fell in love with Someone to Love. It is a love story through and through. There are cheesy moments but I completely ate them up. Cruise and Kendall are so completely perfect for each other. They took awhile to get together and then once they did I was really scared that at any moment something was going to happen that ripped them apart. They had their bumps in the road but I was rooting for the two of them from page one. As soon as I met smart mouthed Kendall, or Kenny as Cruise calls her and hot as heck Cruise I knew this was going to be a great book match for me. They keep each other on their toes, which I love. And I also love how much they really value each other. There is this respect and trust between the two of them that is undeniable.

Cruise had his heart broken in the past and as a result he has been trying to sleep with anything in a skirt. He keeps everyone at a distance until he meets Kendall. And Kendall was trying not to become her mother, with a constant stream of guys and husbands. But what I loved most about the two of them was that even though they have both been burned in the past and they have trust issues, they really trusted each other. I do wish they had opened up to each other a little bit more and a little bit earlier. It took them almost the whole book for some of their confessions, but other than that I thought Someone to Love was pretty perfect.

The storyline was also pretty complex. I felt like their were two main characters because the story was just as much about Cruise and his life as it was about Kenny's. We got to know about both of their families and both of their backstories. It was like getting two stories in one. Addison Moore's writing was great and very adaptive. She would speed the story up and then slow it down just at the perfect parts. She really sucked me into the story.

I was totally in the mood for a hot and sexy love story with characters that I could completely love and this book was all that and then some. I was meeting friends for bowling and I had to stop reading and I was actually sad that I would have to put the book down for a few hours. I need to check out more of Addison Moore's books! ...more

GAH! I keep saying it but honestly I just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the way that Addison Moore writes!!! She finds this crazy balance between mixing the most sexual terminology with Gothic/Biblical terms in a way that works. It's always so descriptive and almost too over the top until you read one or two of her books and get used to it. The way she can mix comedy in with drama is also awesome. I absolutely loved this one and am definitely looking forward to more from her in this genre!!!!!

Őszintén bevallom majdnem fél évbe telt mire elolvastam a könyvet, ezért egy hónapja kezdtem el újra olvasni. Az eleje számomra nagyon vontatott, unalmas volt, nem értettem hogy mégis mit akarhat ez a két ember egymástól. De eljutottam a közepéig, és magával ragadott, ahogy állandóan egymást „üldözték” csak még ők sem tudtak róla :) szóval a végére nagyon megtetszett így elolvastam még egyszer :).

Real good read. My first book by this author and I am true lily impressed. It's hard to tell a story of a subject that has been told many times but still put a new twist and make it fresh for readers.

Kendall is a sweet young lady finding herself at a new college that her mother pushed on her. Watching her mother fall in and out of love with numerous marriages under her belt, Kendall makes it a point in her life to be nothing like her mother. She is innocent all the way through. Finding herself a Real good read. My first book by this author and I am true lily impressed. Kendall is a sweet young lady finding herself at a new college that her mother pushed on her. Watching her mother fall in and out of love with numerous marriages under her belt, Kendall makes it a point in her life to be nothing like her mother. She is innocent all the way through. Cruise (Man, even his name is hot!) is a HOT womanizing ass who all the ladies stand in line for & at times don't even care sharing him at the same time. He's a player all right. BUT... He's more like a sheep in wolfs clothing. He never use to be that way. He took his sexual life very seriously and was in a long time relationship that crushed his soul. He never believed in love at first sight until....

Cruise sees Kendall across the room while she is trying to find her mothers BFFs son, Pennington, at a sorority house. Cruise is instantly attracted and can't keep his eyes off of her. After approaching her he sees her innocence and backs off. Kendall finds herself no where to live after Pennington forgets to sign her up for a dorm. Panicked because she has no where to go Cruise finds her distraught and offers her a place to stay. With him...

Kendall is completely attracted to Cruise but after his confessions of the player he is, she can only see one way to get under his skin and hopefully get more out of him than a one night stand. She propositions him in teaching her to a player like him. Although wary he accepts in hopes she changes her mind and is convinced shell back out of the deal once things gets hot and heavy.

Their story is sweet, hot and oh so funny at times.
Seriously, there were times I was laughing so hard I actually snorted. Lol OMG the scene in the art class before she bares all to the student body. Bushville! Lmao I was seriously rolling!! Classic!

No spoilers here. But let me say that their ride is one I enjoyed reading about. There were scenes too hot to handle and melt in your mouth, i gotta take a bit out of Cruise moments. There's the typical misunderstandings or moments where you just want to yell.. Just talk to each other already! But it was all very well worth it and spiced up the story just enough.

Great read that kept you hanging on. Nice easy read and great to spend an afternoon.
Only regret is I would of loved an epilogue..

Addison Moore outdid herself with Someone to Love. Kendall and Cruise might very well be my two favorite characters ever and that’s saying something since I read way more than the healthy amount of books. I knew from the second Kendall I LOVE this book.

I knew from the second Kendall met Cruise at the frat party while she was waiting for Pennington, that sparks would fly.

They have the kind of chemistry that literally jumps off the page and into your heart. You want to root for them and you want to slap the characters that try to get in their way. From the minute Kendall or Kenny, as Cruise affectionately likes to call her, met his gaze, Moore had me transfixed.

Her writing is real and edgy and my god funny. I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out loud while I was reading this book. The chemistry between these two characters combined with their snarky behavior and sweet moments had my emotions all over the place. Moore does an amazing job of painting a picture and showing the reader how these two feel about each other.

The words and descriptions she uses and how she lets us see what’s going on in their head only served to make me that much more attached to the story. I literally could not put it down. There was a nice round of minor characters, but I really enjoyed how most of the focus stayed on Cruise and Kendall.

The way their relationship developed was great too. I loved seeing them vying for footing in the whole, I’m going to be the female version of Cruises manwhore-ness. Epic. It really does not get better than this. The whole premise for this story was great. It was refreshing and not like every other romance novel.

I don’t want to give too much away because this is a definite must read and me telling you about the sexy or funny parts would in no way be as awesome as reading them. I will say that I loved everything about this book, well except maybe the nickname ‘Kenny’ because it kept making me think Cruise was talking to a guy even though I knew he wasn’t haha. But even so it grows on you.

This book was hard to put down, it was cute & quirky as well as extremely steamy at times. It made me laugh out loud several times and fan myself at others. The build up to the first love scene was awesome. Loved how it took time to get there. Cruise (what a cool name) was intriguing and Kendall had innocence with a great wit. Okay so I have to update my review here because this book has been added a part of a series...YAY!
I loved Cruise in this book he was just the right amount of bad boy to Kendall's good girl (who wants to be bad). I loved the whole angle of helping Kendall out to become a bad girl but falls for her...especially with these two being so anti-love.
Then you add in Cruises jealous ex and it made for a great read with a lot of me yelling at my screen, then a lot more laughing.

Yeah, where to begin...Gah, I LOVED this book!!!! I am a fan of Addison Moore and was curious of her new book as a new adult instead of young adult. I think she more than proved she is just AWESOME!!!

This book was a great romance with just the right amount of steamy and sexy. The story is about true love and the loss of innocence. The characters were portrayed with consistency and that made me able to connect with them more.

Okay, minus the very end, which felt rushed and didn't close the story very well, this was a wonderful book!! I really appreciated that Cruise was passionate about Kendall from the beginning and not just trying to play her. I loved this. I just finished it; I somehow woke up before seven, on my own, to check AP scores (which weren't even there) and then read. I don't think I've ever quiet giggled as much as I did while reading this. I was trying not to wake the three other people in my room!
