My guilty pleasure are simple sweet love stories with good girls and bad boys (who are secretly good boys who are more afraid to be hurt) - this book is just that. Add to that a younger hilarity that at the forefront of Wallbanger - this book had me smiling, laughing and yes, at times screaming at them to fucking just talk to each other.

First off that cover has me drooling! It's so hot and heavy and so suited to this book. I cannot think of a cover more perfect to represent 'Someone to Love'

Ok so I bought this book a little under 2 hours ago and I have already finished it.

This book was a little at times boring. However it is all about 2 people's first love and of course that means that their going to be a little obsessive about each other and of course inseparable.

Finally bought a copy of this one from the Kindle store. What an emotional roller coaster though but i loved it!!!

I have to start this off saying that I really liked this book because offcourse Cruise is Another smoking HOTTT guy!!!!

Kendall moves to go to university and is supposed to get a dorm room which is set up by her friend Paddington but when the plans fall through and she realizes she is stranded with no accomodation or money. She meets Cruise and starts talking to him and he offers her a place to stay till she sorts her living arrangement out.

Kendall is a virgin but she tells him she wants to become the female version of him and that shes not interested in a relationship or falling in love because she doesnt believe in love. her mother scarred her in the 'love' department.

So she propositions him to teach her everything he knows so she can be the ultimate player. This was such a dumb idea to begin with in my opinion as any girl knows that the first guy she is with is sort of special especially as she decides to get to know him first personally.

SURPRISE SURPRISE she finds helself wanting more from him...!!

I feel that there were pieces missing in their story... Its like everything which happened the feelings etc was too quick! like within a week he feels for her and vice versa while still pretending their ' train female whore' game.

I know its crappy to compare books but atleast when you read a book like ' Beautiful Disaster' you see the long friendship bond between Travis and his Pigeon! :) This book wasnt like that at all!!

Anyway, they fall in love as expected and gets engaged then Cruises Ex GF comes back and tries to manipulate the relationship. Going so far as taking pictures of Cruise and Kendall and getting Cruise fired.

The story is missing another piece at the ending because NOTHING happens to the EX Blair, she never gets confronted or there are no repercussions for her actions!

Atlease there is a HEA :)
I'll be honest and say that this book will totally suck you in like it sucked me. There was miscommunication and trust issues and i wanted to see if they would finally see the truth.

A really fun-to-read contemporary. The interaction between Cruise and Kenny was a great mixture of emotions. Their chemistry was sizzling and the slow-build to the rewards was very well written. Lots of witty banter that always hooks me as well. This one had a touch of "a little different" in its storyline making it just that much better.

In fact, it is one of the first question's he asks Kendall when they meet, which of course she answers no to, but by the time the story ends, will they have the same response, or will they both have changed of their minds?

When Kendall's last prospect at a place to stay doesn't pan out, Cruise Elton comes along and offers her a ride and invites her for something to eat, along with an underlying invitation for so much more. As they talk, they begin to become friends, Kendall even shares the fact that she has never given up her V-card, and winds up proposing that Cruise make her her a female version of himself, which is a man-whore. Kendall is unwilling to admit that the only man she really wants is Cruise, and Cruise is willing to do what it takes to keep Kendall in his life. Entering upon the scene is Cruise's ex-girlfriend Blaire, who was the cause of his whole man-whoredom issue. She has decided she wants him back. Kendall is unaware of who she is, Cruise is unaware that Kendall even knows Blaire, and Blaire, being the biatch that she is, uses all this to her advantage to try to sabotage everything. Will Kendall and Cruise ever finally be able to admit their true feelings for one another, and if and when they do, can they overcome the many obstacles that are set in front of them and find true love?

Someone To Love is a story of two beautifully broken people coming together and finally realizing that they both really just want someone to love. I loved Kendall, or Kenny as Cruise calls her. She is absolutely beautiful, but completely unaware of it. She has grown up with little, so she doesn't expect much, and is happy and content with a roof over her head, especially if its the same roof that is over Cruise's head. Cruise is one hot tamale, and every girl within a 10-mile radius wants him. The more time he spends with Kendall, the more he realizes how much he cares for her, and how much he regrets the past few months he has spent sowing his wild oats. I liked him to, man-whoredom aside. He is a really great guy. I loved the relationship between Kendall and Cruise. The chemistry between them is through the roof, and there are tons of steamy sexy scenes that will leave you fanning you face and dropping your jaw. The story was romantic, sexy, and well paced, and definitely kept my attention, leaving me turning the pages wanting more. The whole book drips in s-e-x, but don't get me wrong, it's definitely New Adult. No Fifty Shades here. Okay, maybe just that one part...;o) But what I loved was the writing. It was clever and the descriptions painted amazing pictures for me, which I don't always find in NA books. Sure, many have great dialogue, characters, etc., but then so many times they are lacking in the imagery department.

The waves roll back into themselves in a bionic rush, just to repeat the effort.

Holy hell...do you see what I'm talking about? I think I just got turned on by a description of the freaking beach!

And it's fun-ny. The art studio scene had me literally laughing out loud. Cringing first, then laughing ;o). Not giving you that scene (oh no, you've got to "see" that one for yourself).

Dinner at the Alexander estate is an asylum-worth event. First off, a dining room painted a caustic shade of red and filled with bulky black furniture looks nothing short of satanic. Whoever thought pairing gargoyles in the four corners of the ceiling with angry-looking walls was a good idea might have been a little more than batshit.

Told from the point-of-view of both Kendall ("Kenny") and Cruise, I've read reviews that didn't care for the Cruise POV. They said he sounds too much like a girl and no "bad boy" would sound like that. I think that the more you get to know Cruise, the more you realize that he is far from your typical "bad boy". I might just have a crush, since let's face it, we all want the bad boy but without some of their more bad boy-ish behaviors...;o)

Yup, I liked this book. A lot. I think Addison Moore is a hell of a writer and I just realized Someone to Love is on the New York Times bestseller list (so that's where I found it). I can see why. Unbelievably, it's only $.99 for the Kindle edition. I bought it for $1.99 from Barnes & Noble, but I just checked and it's now $2.99. What's up with that? My guess is the price will go up on Amazon too pretty quick so if you're interested, you may want to snatch this one up.

This was a really cute, funny read. I loved Kenny and Cruise. There were several times I had tears from laughing so hard. The writing was a bit fanciful as other reviewers have mentioned but it didn't really bother me too much and in fact several times that was what made situations even more funny. Simply put, I love this book.

I was really excited for this book because it’s another New Adult stuff and I’m really into that genre for the past few months. Kendall Jordan is the girl who is sick of having this good girl personality that everyone seems to see in her but in reality she’s really a good girl and a very decent one. She’s also been through a lot of family drama. But when she enters college and her living situation kind of fall epically Cruise Elton walks in in her life.

Now, Cruise Elton aside from being added to my fiction crushes – he’s the super hot player-girls-want to-spend-time-and-bed-with. Cruise Elton is really not a player until the one girl that he loves and proposes to cheated on him and breaks his heart and recovering has been hard for him so being a player is the option that he only got to get over the pain it caused him.

It’s another cliché love story about a good-virgin-girl who came face to face with the handsome man-of-all-ladies and Bam! Sparks fly, but I still love it because I’m really a sucker for stories such as this. The story was not perfect and It tends to get boring as they say maybe because some phrases are told in a poetic kind of way (it seems poetic for me) and poem resembles boredom but I still love it.

Someone To Love was a simple, sweet, funny and addictive story with depth. I love Cruise and Kendall together and their story and this New Adult Genre. So, Do yourself a favor guys and read this.

Ok, I gave this story an extra star just because I loved the way the author could turn a phrase. Seriously, she has a clever way of saying things. Gave me a very current and hip feel for the book. I'm too unhip and uncurrent to know if she was at all accurate, but as a reader, it did a lot to create the overall feel of a college campus.

The characters were clever, well-rounded and likeable.

This one started out crazy and I thought oh boy...this is going to be naughty. It ended up being a very sweet romance, with characters who were complex and endearing. Enjoyed this one! I loved seeing how Cruise fell for Kendall throughout the book. They are both so sure they didn't believe in love and it was fun watching them realize otherwise. Blaire is the epitome of a woman scorned.

Kendall "Kenny" and Cruise are hilarious from the beginning with their innuendo's and need to be completely in each others space. The lighthearted banter throughout the book was refreshing.
