The full title is: "GenderBabble: The Dumbest Things Men Ever Said About Women." And there is apparently a lot of "dumb" out there. This book is full of unbelievably ridiculous things that allegedly really dumb men (and women) have said about women:

"The greatest thing for any woman to be is a wife and mother." This, from Theodore Roosevelt?

This book also has formal "counterpoints" such as:

"Show me a woman who doesn't feel guilty and I'll show you a man." (Erica Jong)

and

"If women want any rights more than they have, why don't they just taken them, and not be talking about it." (Sojourner Truth)

Some of the quips are dated but still, the text demonstrates an incredible misogynistic history that hasn't seemed to end.
