The past few weeks have been mentally and emotionally tumultuous, and I was in need of comfort. I always find comfort in books, and this collection of poetry I found to be the most comforting. I always felt calmer after reading her words. The simplicity of her words show the bare meaning.

I really saw the author's thoughts, beliefs, and vulnerabilities in this collection of poems. Some of my favorites include Arrival, Brown, and Cover Girl. The author was able to come up with several poems for each letter of the alphabet. I would definitely read more poetry from Islaih.
