The reasons why I loved this book....please allow me to count the ways. First, it had a little of everything! You had your classic contemporary scenes, your paranormal scenes, your historical scenes, mystery, intrigue, and HOT HOT sex scenes. This book was literally a five course meal that left you oh sooo satisfied when you finished the book. Once you open it, be prepared to sit down and read it straight through. You will NOT be able to put this book down once you start begin reading it.

First of all there are not many books that I've read that provide--historical, paranormal, romance, and edge of your seat suspense. Add the enticing Roman--think sexy man on a mission to uncover the heroine's thieving qualities to only uncover so much more! Amelia is a cool heroine, but I did think Roman was a super developed character.

Wow - this book has it all--a little contemporary, historical, paranormal, and hot, hot romance. The story is cleverly written and will keep you reading long after bedtime. It is my first time reading Ms. Minnis, but I will be sure to read her work again. The characters and plot are both equally developed, and the story will leave you wanting more. I recommend this highly.

If you asked Danita Minnis which is easier, writing songs or writing novels, she would say it was the former. Melodies and rhymes are second nature to her. What her characters want is another thing entirely. With her debut novel, Falcon’s Angel, she learned to listen to her spunky heroine and sinfully confident hero. They’re funny and in danger, and that’s just the way they want it. Lesson learned ...more
