The Pros: I used this as my study guide for taking all 3 sections of the CSET. I passed each section on my first attempt.

The Cons: I'm not sure if fault lies with the study guide or the test itself but much of the information in the guide did not correlate to the test. All three test sections had over 10 multiple choice questions that were not covered in the guide, and when there's only 50 multiple choice questions, that's 20%. The guide also had hundreds of facts not covered in the test, but that could be chalked up to studying 100% of what you should know & the test randomly selecting certain sections to go over.

The guide also had several misspelled words, typos where words were missing, and even sections where the headings were formatted improperly. (The section on US History had a page with 3 mistakes on one page.) I find it hypocritical that an educational study guide would have so many mistakes in it. I know that's more likely a symptom of not using an editor, but it still does not instill confidence in the source material.

This is a good place to start but the questions on the test were NOTHING like this. I found several errors, typos, and one sentence from the science biology book randomly in here. The CA history section seemed like it was written by AI and wasn’t on the test.
