Good idea--but poorly written. "Conifers have seeds, but the seeds are not inside fruits." Technically the pinecone is the fruit--until it releases it's seeds. We did enjoy learning about male and female pinecones though.

This is a good book if you're looking for nonfiction and what plants do.
