Aviation chronicles the first years of manpowered flight in photographs, from the end of the last century to the era of the great Zeppelins, and shows us in numerous marvellous pictures the story of the pioneers and adventurers who extended the boundaries of human achievement.
This is a gorgeous book that provides a nice overview of aviation from its dawn up through the 1930s. The text (in three languages) doesn't provide any great depth or insight, but it doesn't profess to either. This is a great coffee table book and a lovely visual glimpse into the history of flight.
