THE SUMMER THEY NEVER FORGOT by author Kandy Shepherd is a Harlequin Romance release for February 2014.

This is such a heartwarming emotional and sensual story I couldn't put it down.Sandy and Ben had met 12 years before while still teenagers and fell in love in the coastal town of Dolphin Bay such a great setting but when Sandy went back to the City they lost touch but neither forgot each other. Much has happened to both of them in these years tragedy and heart break but when they meet again the spark is still there but there is a lot to overcome. Kandy Shepherd has a wonderful way of bringing her characters to life, showing us many emotions along the way, we can see and feel everything within the storyline. The Summer They Never Forgot will have you riveted till the very last page. I read this book in one sitting and closed the last page grinning sheepishly and with a content heart and a big smile. ((I love HEA))

The Summer They Never Forgot offers a good strong plot with great characters, sexual tension, magnetic passion, strong pasts,

This book gave me the warm and fuzzies from beginning to end. It's a bit of a cliche to call a romance sweet or heartwarming but that's really what The Summer They Never Forgot is.

I was having a pretty horrific day when I picked it up and was hoping I'd end up getting a dose of the levity the cover promised and that's exactly what happened. All the jobs I had around the house completely got forgotten and I ended up reading it in one sitting.

From the very beginning I found myself liking Sandy and

Childhood sweethearts get a second chance at happiness in Kandy Shepherd’s charming and irresistible debut novel for Harlequin Romance, The Summer They Never Forgot.

Sandy Adams had always thought that by the age of thirty, she would have settled down with the man of her dreams, had a couple of kids and found fulfillment in a challenging and satisfying career – she certainly never imagined that she would find herself single, dumped and unemployed! With her birthday fast approaching, Sandy realise

Along the way, happy memories lead her to a stop-over in Dolphin Bay, where a long ago vacation with her family lead to a youthful romance with Ben Morgan, a handsome and caring ...more

If you’re looking for the perfect summer read, you’ll love “The Summer They Never Forgot” by Kandy Shepherd. I won this book during a giveaway, and I’m really glad about it because it’ll be “the book I’ll never forget”.
Sandy and Ben make for a wonderful couple. I liked the idea of them having fallen in love during their teenage years when she and her family came to Dolphin Bay for a holiday, but then losing touch. Years later, they’re not only grown up but loaded with baggage from the past. Whil
