I enjoyed the no-nonsense approach of this cookbook. I think it showcases the variety of home cooked foods that you can still enjoy while managing chronic pain and a gluten-free diet. I especially like the honesty and practicality that the author uses regarding eating a plant-based diet. Many recipes are simple in that the ingredients list is not long and is made of primarily of staples, but if you wanted to add your own flair it could still be a good starting point. What a gift that the author assembled this collection of recipes. Lots of great ideas for breakfast, desserts, sides, meals and salads. Great suggestions throughout the book for specific brands the author trusts. And helpful links in the back of the book. Try the fresh peach and ambrosia salad!!

The recipes in this cookbook were easy to follow. I loved the hints for how to stock your pantry and substitutes. The links in the back were helpful as well. Can't wait for the next one.
