This is a to-buy. Perfect for when I start up the B&B, I look forward to using a great many of these recipes.

Lovely coffetable book about tea Tea for every occasion! Want to have tea for the holidays? A tea party? Tea and breakfast in bed? This book is for you.
Interspersed with discussion about tea as a drink,its history, etc., are recipes for different types of tea (from sick tummies to special occasions) as well as various recipes for goods to eat with tea: scones, cakes, muffins, waffles, etc.
This wasn't quite what I was looking for, but I enjoyed it anyway. Hard-core tea lovers or fans would probably find this fairly enjoyable to add to their collection. There are some gorgeous pictures of tea sets, tea settings, tea parties, etc. although there isn't much by way of cooking (ie how items are supposed to look in the process of being created.

My mother-in-law and I picked this out at Winterthur Museum during the Downton Abbey costume exhibit spring 2014. She read it first, copied out a few recipes and then handed it to me. This is a great book to have in your collection if you enjoy tea.
Very elegant in its presentation of background, etiquette, menus, recipes, etc. However, it also very plain. So you can choose to be as plain or fancy in your enjoyment of tea as you want to be.
