Going through a cancer diagnosis -- this was the best "first cancer" book I ever read. Helped a lot. Was actually a little on the humorous side. I think anyone going through or who has a loved one with cancer should absolutely be required to read this book!! Thank you, Michelle Rapkin.

I think this book is great because it is full of helpful advices for people who are suffering cancer. Also in this book Michelle Rapkin describes how to get through cancer with a sense of humor and in a very optimistic way. This book really encourages anyone who read it.

It waqs amazing to me that I had done most of what it advised. It gave me the confidence to trust my judgement regarding my treatment.

While I got my hair back a long time ago, I wanted to read this anyway. Learned a couple things about cancer and chemo, and really appreciate my hair--good or bad! Prayers to all going through it.
