An adorable firefly fashioned into origami is hanging on the front porch, and she gets to know a real firefly named Molly. She shares what she knows about electricity with the real creature, and they become good friends. I'm not sure how she learned what she knows about the subject, but she is cute as she shares her knowledge.

For younger kids who are curious about electricity but get overwhelmed with the amount of information in many books, this was a fun overview of how electricity works, along with a cute illustrations and a fun little storyline and conversation between the origami firefly and the real firefly.
