It's all fun and sexy games...until someone gets married...

Some women are more dangerous than others. For me, it's like a stoplight. Green means go. Yellow is proceed with caution. And red? Red means you'd best run like hell, because that woman is gonna be serious trouble. The red hair on that hot little Vegas showgirl should be my warning, but I'm a sucker for breaking th

This is my first read from this author and I'll definitely been keeping an eye out for more in the future.

Take Me is a short and sweet novella starring hot history teacher Mike with beautiful dancer Morgan. They both have fear for marriage. They meet by chance and there was an instant connection between them. As they try push each other away, their connection denies them........ and the rest becomes history.

Mike had a system to remain single and detached. Get out before they get clingy. He even had a speech prepared for those awkward moments. But he meets his match when he spots Morgan, a woman that’s shoving him out of the door before he can even get his pants pulled up.

For the first time Mike finds himself wanting more from a woman, even though he doesn’t understand why. But he knows he isn’t done with her after one night, even if she thinks she is.

Morgan has loved one thing her whole life. Danci
1. The 'accidentally married in Vegas' didn't work for me.
2. Wasn't really convinced by the chemistry between these two.
3. Mike was okay enough.
4. Didn't particularly like Morgan.
5. There were some nice dashes of humor.
6. It was nice to see the supporting cast from the previous books.

Diane Alberts is a bit of a hit a miss author for me. Some of her stuff I really like some if it I don't. Take Me landed somewhere right in the middle. It was a book I shouldn't have enjoyed. I have read the whole 'accidently married in Vegas' thing a million times and am bored of it. Also I hate these storylines where women won't be in a relationship because of their careers, as though having ambition makes it impossible to date. That woman cannot have both.

Yet, despite that, I liked this book

The mighty Mike finally gets tamed. Who would have thought.

For Mike the self proclaimed bachelor for life gets tangled up with a one night stand that just happens to be his match (physically, mentally and emotionally).

Morgan refuses to settle down as she wants nothing to get in her way of her career.

For Mike and Morgan one night leads to two and then the unthinkable happens.

I really enjoyed this series of short novella's by Diane Alberts.
I read them all in a few days and I have to say that Take Me was my fav as I really loved Mike.
We got to meet him in Play Me, Garrett's and Kiersten story.
The friendship and banter between the guys added to the story for me.

If you're after a quick read with lot's of yummy ab's you won't go wrong by reading this series up. Have you seen the cover's??? enough said :)

Thank you to Netgalley and to Entangled Publishing, LLC Ever

Mike and morgan want the same. A no strings attached night. No commitment. A night with a lot of drinking and a marriage later though things change. They try to figure out if they can make things work out. Both are stubborn and refuse to acknowledge their feelings for the other. Morgan is career focused. I liked her. To be honest the books in this series have lost their appeal for me.

I liked Mike's theory (the my lack of better word) for relationships and green, yellow and red lights.

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book. Great addition to this wonderful series. Love, love the story.
Mike is my favorite character from this wonderful series. I love that he was willing to give marriage a chance. Morgan is my kind of girl. Love that she knows what she wants.

I have always been fascinated by quickie Vegas weddings so when I got this for review I was extremely intrigued. Having secretly wanted to leave it up to chance and marry a stranger in Vegas in the hope that things would work out and I'd find my soulmate, I felt like I had something in common with this book. I love the idea that fate brings people together when they least expect it and Take Me was exactly what I was looking for with this kind of storyline.

"You just wait. One of these days you'll meet a girl who makes you forget everything you wanted out of life and show you how much you were missing."~Garrett

Mike was so cocky, arrogant, and emotionally closed off in the other books that I could not wait to see him meet his match. He was a good friend and fantastic overprotective big brother, but he was the "love them and leave them" kind of guy with no intention of ever getting seriously involved or married. He made fun of his sisters and friends
Remember when I reviewed Play Me (You know two weeks ago LOL) by Diane Alberts? I was on the fence because I wasn't thrilled with the heroine.. she rather drove me nuts? Well, Take Me is book four in that series and in my most humble opinion, Ms Alberts redeems herself. In Take Me, we get the story of brother Mike (no not a priest.. sheesh). The sibling of the two women in books Love Me (Brianna - sorry no review) and Play Me (Kiersten - reviewed). and you know it's always fun when the I am gonn ...more

Take Me is the fourth book in Diane Alberts’ Take a Chance Series and I have been a huge fan of the series from the first book. Take Me is a fantastic addition and rivals the first book, Try Me, as my fave in the series.

Morgan Collins isn’t like a lot of women her age. She’s not looking for a husband or the 2.5 kids all comfortably tucked away behind a white picket fence in the suburbs. She’s a dancer and i

Take Me by Diane Alberts is the fourth book in the Take a Chance series.

A fun, light-hearted romance. A quick read and a fantastic series!

This was not my favorite book of the four - I felt like everything just happened so quickly and then it was over. That being said, I still really enjoyed Mike & Morgan's story, just not as much as the others in this series.

Mike is not a relationship kinda guy. He has a theory about dating. He even named his theory. Are you ready for it?

Ok, I think this is the last book in the Take A Chance series, and it totally rocked! It went out with a bang, and if you’ve read any of this series you MUST read this one. The epilogue alone was freaking fantastic, and then you get the story of Mike and Morgan. This couple is something else, I tell ya! Now I’ve read three out of four of these books, somehow I skipped book two. Either way, I don’t think you’d be terribly lost to read these as a standalone, but I think they absolutely rock as a s

Mike is a playboy who makes his theory of hook up/ relationships known. Morgan is a professional dancer who lives for her career. She doesn't need a man to tie her down. When Mike takes her seat in the bar they have a connection and just cant keep their eyes off of one another which leads them to hooking up. I've mentioned before how much I love Diane Albert's contemporary romances, she always writes such realistic characters who have fantastic chemistry and Take Me is no exception to that. Although this is the fourth book in the Take A Chance series it can easily be read as a stand alone story, I would happily recommend all of the books though because they've all been great reads.

If you have read any of the previous stories you'll already know Mike through his sisters Brianna and Kiersten. While he

First off...I have to say I LOVE the cover for Take Me. I mean seriously who wouldn’t?

I feel a little behind the eight ball so to speak when it comes to this series. I didn't read the first two books, only the third one and this one. But from the third book (Take Me), I could tell Mike was going to be someone special. And he was going to need someone just as special to capture his heart and let him know that it was okay to love someone. Mike total

Let's get one thing straight, the events that happen in Take Me are highly (strongly urge the highly) unlikely to happen in real life. Which is all right, because it's a work of fiction. However, it takes place in Vegas, and let's be honest no one really no one knows what really goes on there. Anyway, we have the fourth story in Diane Alberts' Take a Chance series. This time we are focusing our attention on Mike Worth.

Diane Alberts amazes me. Why? Because she manages to create these stories for Entangled that are hot, sweet and hard to put down.

In TAKE ME, we finally get to meet the woman that manages to knock Mike Worth on his ass. And the mighty have fallen fast and hard.

Mike Worth was determined to love'em and leave'em. But when he meets Morgan, the female version of himself, he suddenly finds all his reasoning for swearing off relationships, love and marriage a load of crap. Now he's determined to prove t

I am in love with Diane Alberts Take a Chance series and Take Me is no exception, fitting perfectly with the prior three books.
Mike Worth is a middle school history teacher who is holding on to his bachelorhood like a lifeline. He gags at just the mention of the dreaded word marriage, but he is incredibly happy for his sisters and their husbands for finding their true love and happiness; it’s just not for him.

Mike and his buddies were at his soon to be best friend and future brother-in-law’s bachelor party. They were all sitting around, of course teasing each other and talking smack to Mike about how he tries to talk all grooms out of getting married and if he was going to be trying to talk Garrett out of getting married.
Mike said no and that he had explained to Garrett that if he didn’t show or hurt his sister Kiersten in any way he would basically pound him. Yeah, you got it Garrett is marrying M

Okay, first of all, can we just give a little cover praise, because…damn!! That’s hot!! This was definitely one steamy number, and I think I was at a serious disadvantage having only just now met sexy/cocky Mike since I haven’t read the first books of this series yet! He was so sure of himself, and when red-headed fireball Morgan Collins stomped all over his ego with her “no strings attached” attitude, he was really thrown off his game. Temporarily, of course.

Meet our happy couple Mike and Morgan: two professionals who know what they want out of life, and the one thing they don’t….marriage. Mike because he’s seen what a bad marriage can do to people and Morgan because her dancing dreams come before any man. Of course, that’s all before you add some fun, cocktails, and Vegas (see above)!

Unfortunately for Mike and Morgan the whole—what’s happens in Vegas stays in Vegas— doesn’t work when you decide to get married. And o

Mike doesn't do relationships, so when he meets the gorgeous Morgan he wants to get with her. She has something that draws him in, especially the fact that she appears unaffected by his charming ways.

Morgan doesn't have time for a relationship and is not in the lookout for one. She wants to get her career as a dancer on track while she's young. Of course, she wasn't planning on meeting the handsome Mike. With his sexy charm and his determination to pursue her, she is slowly but surely

Ok, let’s get first things first out of the way, holy hotness on the cover…I wanted to just get my hands on the guy and well…potentially do very naughty things…lol! Yes, I’ll admit, i’m shallow when it comes to covers, the hotter guys on them the better (I refuse to be ashamed of the books I read, and the covers they use). But moving on…I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical since this was book 4 in a series and I hadn’t read the previous books in the series

Mike Worth doesn’t believe in love and marriage; well at least for himself. He is out with his best friend Garrett’s bachelor party, when he spies a booth in a crowded bar. Morgan is waiting for a blind date when she leaves a note on the table of her booth to say she will be right back; she just has to quickly use the restroom. She comes back to find Mike and his group of friends sitting in the booth. When Morgan returns Mike refuses to give up the booth. The barb
