When Shane asked me to read her new book, I immediately said yes because I really liked her first one. This book, Impossibly Love, I fell deeply for, and ended up reading the entire novel in one sitting. Shane Morgan is a promising new talent to look out for.

I'm not sure where I should begin because there's just so much I want to try and express, so I will just jump on in!

“I was adamant on making her mine.”

I really wanted to love this book. It has a great concept, but unfortunately I just felt like it wasn't well executed and I ended up feeling like the book was just okay. Not bad exactly, but not great either.

The positives:

The concept.
I thought that the concept of this book was good. A girl who is afraid of giving away her heart because she's been abandoned in the past finally falls for someone - only he may not be

I have to say thank you to Shane Morgan for accepting me and giving me the book in advance for beta reading! First of all I love the cover and I think the girl fits perfectly the main character. Second of all, the books it’s absolutely from first page to the last, perfect! I've had all sorts of emotions reading it. I was happy, then sad, then angry, again sad, pissed, happy, laughing, at it goes on. What Shane Morgan did in th

This is a pretty quick and easy read that I honestly had trouble putting down. I read this entire book in one day. The characters in this story are very relatable and I liked them very much. The plot is easy to follow and the book takes off right in the very beginning.

WARNING: Do not start reading unless you have the time to read the whole book!! I started this before bedtime. I thought I'd read a few chapters and then finish the rest over the weekend…I got so wrapped up in Branden and Moya's story that before I knew it…it was 12:30 and I had to get up at 5 AM for work!! I loved everything about this book!! I can't wait for Branden and Moya's story to continue in the next book "Impossibly True."

Well, I want to start with saying that this book was actually really good, and there are certain people I would definitely recommend this one to. This was an adorable, clean, and refreshing New Adult book that does a decent job standing out from others in the same category. Another fine example of how New Adult books do not have to be all about sex and that there are other more pressing issues that this specific age-group face; nice

This is a great story about two people who are not looking for fall in love but do. Moya doesn't want to be distracted by a boy because all they are going to do is hurt you in the end. Meanwhile, Branden has a condition that threatens to take away his life. But somehow, these two find each other and are unable to resist the pull and soon find themselves in love.

I liked that for being a new adult romance novel, it wasn't filled with raging hormones and tons of sex. Instead we get a sweet slow bui

*Spoiler alert

I was actually very impressed with this book. While there was the whole "I can't love you because I'm broken" thing, it was done realistically and (thankfully) was short lived. Most books that go through 400 out of 500 pages of angst-y "unrequited" love drive me crazy and I often end up skipping pages and chapters until they finally wrap it up and go on with the story. I was very pleased
Love this book! I thought Moya's closed off personality was justifiable and I had a feeling she was protecting herself. I love that Brandon never gave up on her. The secret about his condition kept me reading as well as seeing how he'd break Moya's shell. I thought the tension kept me reading with interest right until the end.

I'm glad this and Victoria H. Smith's book were my first real forays into the New Adult genre. I like the cleaner and more subtle NA reads rather than the over the top ones

I really, really wanted to like this. It is written by a blogger that I have followed for some time. I read over half of it and then just couldn't read anymore. It was too much innuendo for me and heavy breathing and descriptions at weird places. It also didn't feel authentic or natural. I was just thinking would a guy really think those things and say that? Maybe for those who read Adult Romance on a regular basis this might work for them. I wanted a lot more depth to the characters and the sto ...more

WOW This book was good. The characters pull the reader in right away taking you on an emotional roller coaster. It is hard to stop reading if I didn't have finals I would have read this book in one sitting. This truly an amazing book about learning to let someone in. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story.
Warning though this book may make you cry.

I enjoyed this read, it was very emotional. The only thing I had issues with was the pushy friend, saying she cannot be happy and have a full life without a man. Having a man is a want not a need. She was like a devil on her shoulder, don't study, party and have fun.

Anyway, I love this couple and Brandon was a really sweet, good guy.
Awesome story.

Tragically bad writing.
OMG this book was just so sweet like I can't get over it. There are some obvious issues I had with it but it just made my heart happy reading it.

I'm not the biggest fan of New Adult college romances but this is the cutest and sweetest one that I've read and the fact that it was a rare decent IR romance made it even better for me. The book centers on the relationship between Moya and Branden. Moya was iffy for me like I found her to be a little one-dimensional. She spent most of the book being an

A sweet love story that leaves you desperate for more. Shane Morgan is a fantastic author who creates gorgeous scenes for the reader to imagine. She has a way of taking a simple thing and changing it into a magical, romantic scene. This book is a roller coaster of emotions making your heart swell and then shatter within a few pages. Moya Douglas has sealed her heart up so tight no one is going to be able to break through. At least, that is what she hopes. Because, loving someone means losing them. She knows. She has experienced it, suffered through it, learned from it. So what if she is alone? That just means she has more time to devote to obtaining her degree in Finance with the added bonus that her heart is still in one piece. You..can' Her best friend,

Impossibly Love is a very short, very sweet tale of a girl with steel walls built around her heart and a too smitten boy desperate to break through.

Impossibly Love is the kind of short and sweet that's bad for you, like a mini bite-sized candy bar. Why is it bad for you? Uh, let me count the ways.
1. You have to read it in one sitting. That's about four hours of sitting. (Hello, cellulite!)
2. You ignore everyone and everything around you. Be prepared to be called unsociable. (Warning: Do not read

Impossibly Love is a feel-good, sweet New Adult contemporary romance that will make you laugh and cry. It's a fast-paced read that drew me in from the first chapter. Ms. Morgan created two very likeable characters, both broken by events in their lives; one determined to avoid love at all costs, and one wanting love desperately, but afraid of rejection.

Before I reveal my thoughts, I would just like to thank Shane for giving me the opportunity to read and review her novel ~ Impossibly Love. It is a romantic read which tugs on your heart strings.

So where to begin? Let me start by introducing the two main characters, Moya Douglas and Branden McCarthy. Moya is beautiful, intelligent, strong minded and fiercely independent. A second year college student, she spends much of her time studying and has no desire to enter a relationship with a member fr

I wasn't sure that I was going to enjoy this book when I first started reading it, because I wasn't a big fan of the main character, Moya. She came off too mad, too full of attitude and so argumentative with all of the other characters that I instantly felt that she was a negative to the story, however, as I continued on through the story she became slightly less of a negative to the story and she softened some once she found out that no

I could not put Impossibly Love down, and I read it completely in one sitting. Man, the story line hit close to home with the understanding of Moya’s past. I guess it is why I found it so hard to put the book down.
When I met my husband, I was guarded, lost, and closed off to the world. I know how hard it is when you have been hurt over and over again. I love how Shane captured the hurt, feelings, and brought it into the book.

I really liked this book. I enjoy character-driven stories and Moya and Branden were very well developed. I felt like I knew them and had a stake in what they were going through. I also got a kick out of Vanessa--she's the sidekick every girl wants as their gal pal.

As far as the plot, I liked that the author kept it simple and straightforward. I never felt like the story veered off course. She stuck to the problems at hand and let the characters express their own (realistic) viewpoints as the pl

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this book. The description was interesting, and though I had some doubts at first, the story was as well. The thing I loved most about this story was how much I had in common with Moya. My parents aren't together anymore, and the experiences my family/friends have had with boyfriends have made me more wary of getting one myself. I've never had a boyfriend and I've never been kissed.
