I've read 3 books in Dale Mayer's Psychic Visions Series so far and I must admit I am kind of hooked. I like how the romance, suspense and psychic/paranormal genres merge in the stories.
Knock, Knock is the 5th book in the series.

I liked the storyline and there was enough suspense (though a bit slow at times) to keep my interested and though I liked the hero I did find the heroine a bit irritating at times. I also felt a lack of chemistry between the heroine, wealthy and beautiful Shay Lassiter,

I have received the book from the touring host for an honest review.
This is my fourth book for the author and my first adult book from her, and she did not disappoint. The plot was well layered with suspense as people started to die for no apparent reason other than natural causes.
The characters were interesting and believable as the story unfolds, and soon you are glued to the pages as you learn more about the psyche world and the dangers it can cause. As with everything in life, this too can

We meet Shay at the start of this book, she's woken with a sense of dread. Her ghost cat Morris a blue ball of energy at her shoulder. What ensues is a psychic battle with her fiancé. One she almost doesn't survive but with the help of Stefan and then Morris she does. She sees something as the end is near but it was too late to stop the process. Darren and who or what was inside him died. A bittersweet moment as well since Morris was gone too.

A year later, Shay is looking forward to meeting

Fast paced and entertaining. The couple has more of a romance in the book then the other stories have, but it still on the fringe of the story, rather than the main story. The psychic component had the villain(s) with strong physic powers be introduced an idea of a psychic attack which was fascinating.

Seeing the respect for Stefan and how they all bound together to protect the kids was a great connector of this story to the series. The writing is colorful and the story imaginative. Cant wait

After DNFing book 4, I gave book 5 in this series a crack. DNF at 15% in, the psychic battles aren't my thing plus the regular reference to the h height was - to me - stupid. She is a little under 5'9", which is about 2 inches taller than average. Not exactly a height that 'scares off men' or would allow her to see over the heads of others in a crowd.

This is a good series. I just wish the author could come up with some different descriptive phrases for the villain ( it's the same in each novel as you will discover if you read them ) and also the same phrase for the male love interest is used throughout each..

Enjoyable paranormal suspense

Shay Lassiter runs a charitable foundation that helps those in need including animals. She has psychic abilities tied to energies and reading people. A year ago her fiancé tried to psychically kill her but with the help of friends she survived and turned the tide against him. She has been guarded ever since and questions her abilities after they failed her in truly seeing who her fiancé was. She meets Roman and is stunned by what he makes her feel but there is a wall

I liked this one a lot, but the grammatical errors are annoying which knocked down the rating. It starts out pretty dramatic and it took a while for me to figure out the villain, but the one thing that is consistent about these stories is that it isn't easy for the police to solve without a large leap in faith, and even those who are similarly gifted struggle with locating the person behind the crimes.

Shay is a strong character. Even after the betrayal she suffers, she has her beloved

Skip this book, SKIP IT. Let me start by saying that I've read several other of the books in this series, and I enjoy them. They're generally great guilty pleasure reads while running on the treadmill, kinda hokey, but entertaining. This one, however, was as if it was written by an entirely different person, and was maybe one of the worst written books I've ever read. I stuck it out and finished, but I still don't know why. The heroine of this book, Shay, supposedly headed a charitable ...more

Another fun little ride in a world where those with psychic abilities find themselves drawn together and the bad guys can do things that no one should be able to do. With Stefan as a touchstone and mentor/friend to the various psychics, they've all come to rely on one another when times are tough.

This time around, we have Shay -- wealthy, independent Shay who finds something terrible in her fiance when he tries to kill her -- at the center of things. She's smart and driven and she no longer

This read was okay, but it definitely left me wanting. Roman and Shay were pretty cute, but with the villain slinking around (and not doing a very enticing time of it) their romance felt a little lacking. I loved the way they came together and his secret regarding Shay and his art pieces, but that's about the highlight of their relationship for me.

The eerie presence wasn't very creepy. I was mildly wary when the black eyes

I know what I like and I like this series, actually scrap that, I LOVE this series. Each book draws me deeper into a world where all is not as it seems, with believable characters and interesting plots that are not what you would expect. Shay has serious trust issues, and after what she's been through who could blame her? And Mason has a secret. Combine that with murders of the mysterious kind and a vengeful killer and you've got one hell of a book. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I ...more

'Knock, Knock' was an intense, thrilling and suspenseful read. The storyline was well written and well thought out. The paranormal aspect was very creative. The way the storyline played out had me on edge quite a few times. I wasn't sure how it would unfold. The characters were amazing. Stefan and Maddy were an integral part of how the scenarios 'that let all hell loose' ended. Shay is quite powerful with her capabilities regarding her psychic and made a great lead. Roman was iffy for me at ...more

I do like this series, as far fetched as it sometimes seems. Shay Lassiter, a beautiful girl who controls a charitable foundation, has had a bad experience with her former lover (and psychic). People close to her start dying, and she senses something is terribly wrong.

And of course, there is the handsome Roman Chandler, who seems obsessed with her before they even meant.

A bit too heavy on the romance (for me), but the story line is good.

I liked this guy better than the last guy, or "Hero". Still, it was a turn off when they were going out on their first date and he sees her all dressed up and he says, "It looks nice." It?!? Really? Not, she, you?!? Sorry, but, words are powerful and can change my opinion of my Hero real quick....
Still, it was a quick read, a nice romance and a lot of psychic mumbo jumbo, which I love:) I can't wait for Stephen's book!

These books are awesome! They are mind-bending and lead you into a world where the mind is all-powerful and anything you want to happen can happen. The characters are truly believable a s you quickly develop a bond with them. They repeat in each book as they help others along the way to self-realization. The entire series is awesome!
