Unmasked (Believe #2) by Trista Jaszczak was all sorts of cute cute cute.
Part of the Believe series Unmasked plays around with the Cinderella story.
Blair works at an upmarket boutique in New York.
Employed by the Ice-Queen who hates her.
And also her two awful daughters.
Blair is persuaded by her fairy-godfathers the amazing Christian and Anthony to attend The Huntsmen's masked ball in the Ice Queens place.
Here she meets Hunter/AKA Derek or D by his bandmates.
He whisks her off to his pent

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I absolutely loved it. It is alot like your fairy tale that you read when you were a kid just made into an adult version. I enjoyed reading it from the beginning to the end. A great story line with great characters who have great chemistry. Blair is your average girl just trying to succeed in her world. She has two amazing males that are her best friends and her fairy god fathers so to speak who turn her into a princess for one night. She a ...more

Trista's re-telling of fairy tales continues in this book with the re-telling of many girls favourite fairy tale, Cinderella.

Blair was an ordinary girl who has to deal with an evil boss and her ugly daughters - the equivalent of the step mother and step daughters.

Her two 'fairy godfathers' encourage her to go to a masked ball all decked up and looking gorgeous, and there she meets with the rockstar Hunter!

When she leaves next day, Hunter launches a search for her and the rest is history!

I absolutely LOVED Unmasked, as it was a modern day twist on the fairy tale Cinderella, although with a rock star! Blair Miller is simple girl who loves fashion so much that she's only even wanted to study it in New York City. So she works with one of her best friends at a high end boutiques, ATTRAYANT for years, but unfortunately, her boss is a horrifying woman who hates her & makes it her life goals to makes Blair's life miserable along with her two repulsive daughters. But Blair's life ta ...more

I really liked this modern Cinderella story line with characters that are really lovable and others you are most likely to HATE . The hero is very swoon worthy the little dates that he plans just made me swoon and I liked the heroine but at times she did frustrate me but the help of her fairy god fathers who really stole the story for me made me like her even more , over all you could really feel the strong connection with these two super intense and not wanting to be away from one another .

I love the story of Cinderella like every other woman and girls out there and Trista Jaszczak retelling was amazing. Blair is an ordinary woman dealing with the boss from hell and her two evil daughters, when her 2 fairy godfathers decide she going to a ball that night with her boss’s invite. She meets Hunter from the band the Huntsmen and they spens the whole night together but she runs leaving one of the 8,000$ shoes behind. First off.... OH MY GAWD!!!!
I loved this book almost more than I adored Little Red (Book One in The Believe Trilogy)

We start off with Blair... she's not plain or anything but she seems to think she is... She reminds me of myself actually....

She is running late, stopping to grab coffee for everyone at work on her way in trying to beat her boss in..

Blair works for "The Ice Queen" and boy does she earn that title.!!

I read Little Red and while that book took me a while to get the hang on the ever

The Shoe is a modern day Cinderella story. Complete with a lost shoe. Unlike the original, this lost shoe is worth almost eight grand! Cinderella is a sales girl named Blair, and Prince Charming is a hottie rock star whose stage name is Hunter. Hunter does everything in his power to find Blair after she wakes up after a night of hanging out and she's gone. All he has left of her is one crys

The Shoe was a classic girl finds guy, girl runs away without leaving her number, guy searches for girl, and when guy finds girl they have to overcome certain obstacles before they can live happily ever after.

In this case, Blair is a young woman working for an evil ice queen, Camilla Hodgkins, with two nasty daughters, Mary Ann and Fay. The role of the Fairy Godmother is played hilariously by Blair’s best friends/saviors at times, Anthony and Christian. And the prince happens to be Derek Hunter,

I absolutely adored this book! I love how Blair seems so down to earth, but is portrayed as being self-conscious (which many young ladies can identify with) and careful when it comes to her relationships or where her heart is concerned. Hunter is perfection in his gestures, his morals and more!! Not to mention, I wish Christian and Anthony were my friends!

In this book Trista basically retells Cinderella in modern day. Blair is a young woman who works in a fashion store under "The Ice Queen," he

I give this story a 4.5 stars .. I rated it a 5 because I rounded it up!! 4 was just not enough for me:)

All Blair wants out of life is a happy life one that doesn't consist of the wicked boss lady Camilla that she works for. When boss lady goes on a vaca, she steps in with the help from her two gay bff's Anthony and Christian and goes to the party that wicked old boss lady had an invite to

I loved this story!!! The Shoe is book two in Trista Jaszczak's Believe series. This one is a twist on Cinderella. Blair a twenty-something shop assistant in New York is Cinderella and Derek Hunter, lead singer of the rock band The Huntsmen is our Prince Charming and boy does he rise to the challenge. Blair goes to the release party for the Huntsmen's new album, she's not supposed to be there as it was her bosses invite but her boss was out of town and in this story her boss is the wicked stepmo ...more

This was such a cute retelling of a classic fairy tale. The plot was very good, characters were relatable and believe able. Its a somewhat fast/slow paced story. Keeps your interest and just a great story overall.

We first meet Blair who is a average everyday girl. Who like so many of us have a horrible boss. But she also has her BFF's Christian and Anthony, I loved those two. Blair goes to a masquerade and meets her prince charming, only to run out on him the next morning leaving behind a shoe

The Shoe is a new take on your fairy tale romance of Cinderella, but not for children version! She works for an fashion store; however it is owned by an evil women who just so happens to have 2 daughters that are ugly. Blair sure feels like it when she is invited to a masked ball and guess what she loses her shoe; however, in this case its not a glass slipper but an $8,000 one. Read The Shoe to find out what poor Blair will go through to find this super expensive shoe. While the Prince Charming ...more

I enjoyed very much this modern adaptation of Cinderella, not just because that is one of my favorite fairytales, but also because Trista Jazsczak has a real knack for creating fun, romantic and relaxing atmosphere.
Her story flows easily, and just like in Little Red – book one of The Believe series – the action is recounted using each character’s point of view in turn, giving us an idea about their feelings and thoughts at all times. Blair and Hunter are modern projections of Cinderella and Prin

I went into this book with a completely open mind, not realizing what it was about. And then as I got further into the book, I was shocked to find out what it was about!

Now don’t get me wrong I love the fairy tales just like any other girl, but it takes a lot for me to get into stories that are twists off of the old fairy tales. That wasn’t the case with The Shoe though, I completely enjoyed this story. I thought it was great how the story went along, and the things that the author thought to i

Although, Blair and Hunter are the modern versions of Cinderella and Prince Charming, I found the most animated characters of this story were Christian and Anthony (Blair's "fairy-godfathers"). They made me laugh so hard I cried. The Shoe is a modern day, romantic, rendition of the classic Cinderella story. The plot kept my interest and characters are very relate able. I loved this book so much. I have read several of Trista’s books and love them all, but this is one of my favs. It’s such a feel-good, sexy, hilarious story. Hunter is swoon-worthy and Blair is adorable. Love them both.

This is a great take on Cinderella and does not disappoint. The key parts are here and are so fun to come across as the story progresses. My favorite is probably the fairy godfathers. Her two close guy friends are hilarious, sweet, and push her in all the best ways.
