WOW, book high! can't stop grinning like a fool lol. If you need a laugh, read this!
Cami - a yoga instructor with serious food hang-ups due to her mother, & a tater tot obsession
Paul - a gourmet chef needing to work a little more on his fitness, & a severe case of foot in mouth
put these two together & all I can do is laugh, but in a good way. sparks fly between them, they have a great natural chemistry & get on so well. even with her issue ...more

A woman with body image issues, a tyrannical health food nut for a mother, a tater tot obsession and a crush on gourmet chef. Sounds like a match made in hell. However, Paul may be able to teach Cami a few important things about food and love.
Cami Pressman has had to deal with body image issues ever since she came home from her first year at college with the dreaded “freshman fifteen” plus a little extra. It happens, right? Mother dearest didn’t agree, and promptly pointed out her short-comings, ...more

Sometimes after reading lots of longer books, you need a shortie to clean the palate (for lack of a better phrase). And Eat, Play, Lust did just that. Let me just say do not read this novella in public unless you are willing to endure stares from strangers because you are chuckling non stop. I read it on a public bus and managed to garner a few odd looks when I laughed at something I just read.
There are enough double entendres in this novella to set anyone off into fits of giggles, which is why the above warning was needed.

I grew up in a family where the philosophy was "Food Is Love". That might explain why I am fluffy. (Just sayin'.) In "EAT, PLAY, LUST", Cami also has some unresolved food issues. After gaining the "Freshman Fifteen" - or as she says, "Freshman Forty", her Mom embarrassed her into an overly strict healthy (tasteless!) diet. She's carried this food guilt, along with a major craving for tater tots, into her adult life. As a yoga studio owner & instructor, she feels she should not be eating her tate

This book gives a whole new meaning to food porn! Ha. I was giggling from the very beginning. So many double entendres made the dynamic between Cami & Paul so fun to read. I'd also like to say that this books deserves 4 stars just for that dessert recipe alone. I will totally be looking into reading more from this author.

I love, love sexy steamy romance stories but when I get that along with some stellar laughs, these are the books that make me want to shout from the rooftops! I learned a while back never to laugh out loud when reading if the DH is home. Thinking this wouldn’t be a big issue; this was the last book that I stared before heading to bed the other night. BIG mistake! I was giggling early on, and laughing out loud before the first chapter of this novella was over. Rather than ‘reading out loud’ to the DH, since he never gets the humor anyway: I had to restart the story at page 1, so he could read over my shoulder. Sometimes giving in is far easier than bat

My Review:
I read this novella in about 45 minutes. It's so short, but it easily is one of the most satisfactory short novellas I have EVER read. This book was so good, so sweet, so funny, and yes, so romantic.
Cami is a yoga instructor. Paul has been taking her group class for two months and she's definitely noticed him. He's noticed her too and that's part of the reason he decided to go in for a one-on-one class. This book worked because they've had that relationship for so long. Paul is a chef ...more

I didn't find this interesting at all since I read a few first pages actually.
But I tried to keep reading this hopping that there will be something interesting.
But that wasn't coming so I stopped.
I don't find the "Lust" part of this book. Even though the title says like that. Maybe bcz I didn't finish it? idk.
Up until 56% it's just about Cami who is a yoga instructor that has a crush on one of her client who happens to be chef.
She has a secret - she says it's a 'big secret' but in my ...more

A few years back, I discovered a fantastically funny romantic comedy called Making Waves by a woman named Tawna Fenske. It kept me up that night while I finished it, and it reminded me that "light, romantic, beach read" means good things.
Since then I've been a huge fan, so when I heard Tawna had a book coming out, and that I might finish it before one am, I was all over it.

Eat, Play, Lust by Tawna Fenske: Cami Pressman is a successful yoga instructor with her own studio located on the river’s edge in Bend, Oregon. In addition to all kinds of group classes, she provides private paddleboard lessons to those students who want a little more challenge from their yoga workout. Being so short, it pretty much gets straight to the point. Boy likes girl. Girl likes boy. After some bumbling around, boy and girl get together … but the bumbling is very delicious.
If you need a great way to wrap up your summer night, grab a glass of wine and sit back – Eat Play Lust is that perfect little tidbit to finish out your day.

This is my first Tawna Fenske book, definitely not my last! What a fun read! Hot chef and beautiful yoga instructor. How can you go wrong? Tawna puts good laughs, great chemistry and hot scenes a short amount of time. Awesome! I can't wait to add more of her to my TBR!

Feeling duped!!
Shame on me! I didn't read the fine print about estimated reading time NOR did I understand that a "flirt" was a term used in place of "short story". I've paid for and read Tawna Fenske books before and enjoyed them. I kept wondering why this one felt so rushed. I'll know better next time. Tawna, if you read these reviews... I really liked Paul, the lead male character(just in case I'm wrong about his name. Again, too short)! ...more

I'm a bit of a foodie so I read the blurb for this book and knew it was a must read for me.
I really loved the self discovery that Cami and Paul had about themselves from their time together. They were able to learn to embrace a balance of indulgences with health and wellness.
I thought the use of food in their steamy scene(s) was super HOT too. It was very well written and really made the moments sizzle. ...more

Wow
I have to say I really enjoyed this short read! I didn’t want it to end. I wanted there to be more pages. But other than I wish it was longer I would recommend this book! Loved the verbal word play back and forth. I even laughed out loud a couple of times. I will be reading more books by Tawna Fenske.

While it was a fast and fun read, and I really enjoyed the fact that Paul was the one with motor-mouth syndrome, I felt it lacked a lot of depth that would have been found in a longer story.
I did not know it was a short-story going in, and I felt things were just getting good when it all ended. This could almost be a prequel to something longer.

I read something else by this author and loved, loved it. I checked my kindle and I had this book on it so I read it.....it was way to short. I really didn't get a chance to know the characters and it was over. I still enjoyed it, I just would have liked more.....
