Great story - from enemies to lovers. Love the chemistry between them. The banter which underlined their true feeling for each other. A story about hidden truths, being angry with the ones you love, hurt, misunderstanding to face up to the challenges to find their way home. Silence can be the most misleading truth of all. Loved this story - enjoyed every minute of it. More tears were shed- mine. Yes another heart moving ending or maybe I am just one big softie. Either way I did love it. Will be ...more

The story has been portrayed in films the world over and has popped up in many books, marriage of convenience !

But in real life when you marry someone either for money, business or to obtain a green-card it does not always turn out to be love found and happy ever after.

But lucky for us romance readers it is the case in books! In this short read from author Lilian Darcy she tells of Tegan, she has been living in the US and living the dream, she is so not ready to go back home to Aust

People will marry without love for a variety of reasons. Wealth, power, land, prestige, honor or pregnancy are just a few of them, but Tegan Ash didn't want to marry for any of those reasons. She just needed a green card to pursue her dream. Now that Chet won't help her, was six weeks long enough to find another willing man to marry her, or was she destined to return to Australia, her dreams unfulfilled? Honestly, Tegan no longer knew.

Coming to America eighteen months before under a

Not only do I love the stories of The Cooper Mountain Rodeo novellas, but I absolutely am loving the covers!

In Marry Me, Cowboy by Lilian Darcy, Tegan makes the rodeo circuits barrel racing. Originally from Australia and her visa about to expire, Tegan is all set to marry her fellow rodeo rider Chet so that she can stay in the country. There is no romance involved, it is pure practicality. So when Chet suddenly calls off the wedding (at the wedding!), Tegan is not heart broken, but d

Tegan and Chet, both riders in the rodeo, are about to get married. Where most marry for love, these two are planning to marry for convenience. Tegan is an Australian native whose Visa is about to expire in the next few weeks. She knows that if she doesn’t marry an American citizen soon that she risks losing her Visa and being forced to go back to Australia. Although Australia is home to her, she has no home to go to. Her family sold the farm that she was hoping to take over. She told them that ...more

When I think of Rodeo’s, I think of cowboys and who can resist a cowboy? The way they swagger and fill out those wranglers…….sigh. Marry Me, Cowboy is Book 2 of The Copper Mountain Rodeo Series and is by the fabulous Lilian Darcy. Lilian Darcy is able to pack a whole lot of story in this novella. This is Jamie and Tegan’s story and Darcy does a fantastic job of giving us their back stories without making them wordy or forced, and their back stories are definitely important to understand who Jami ...more

Tegan Ash is an Australian barrel rider living in the US. She's all ready to marry Chet in order to stay in the US, but he calls off the wedding at the last minute. She ends up spending time with Chet's BFF, Jamie MacCreadie - the two haven't liked each other since the time they met. But, one thing leads to another.... This was a short story with not a lot to it, but it was cute and sweet.

A western romance combining frenemies-to-lovers with just a hint of arranged marriage. It’s an arrangement that works pretty darn well!

Tegan Ash starts out the story planning on a green-card marriage with her rodeo buddy Chet Wyndham. This isn’t a love match. Tegan and Chet aren’t even friends-with-benefits. Tegan has been a barrel rider on the rodeo circuit for almost two years, and her visa is up. Her dad and step-mum have sold the family fa

Tegan and Jamie have spent most of the last two years not liking each other much. Oh, lately they’ve done some good in getting over their annoyances around Chet, Tegan’s soon to be husband and Jamie’s friend and rodeo partner. But it really wasn’t easy as it seems the only thing these two know how to do is argue, or snip at each other. But there just might be more behind that constant snipping than either is ready to acknowledge, to themselves or each other.

(My rating: 4.5) Cowboys, horses, a guy and a girl who don't like each other, a marriage of convenience. This is the recipe of countless romances. In Lillian Darcy's Marry Me, Cowboy, she tosses this tried-and-true formula into a barrel, adds her own spin, and makes it her own.

Marry Me, Cowboy is the second book in the new Copper Mountain series. I loved the ease with which I immediately fell into this charming story. From the opening scene with American Jamie MacCreadie, 26, a competitor in the rode

Marry Me, Cowboy is the second Copper Mountain Rodeo series. Interestingly enough they are written by different authors. The books in this series are written by different authors and the first one I read, Promise Me, Cowboy, was good until the end when I felt it just ended too quickly. This one was quick, but I liked it. I didn't mind it so much.
