The one thing that Irene Cornwell knows for sure is that Theo Jacobson is one handsome, smooth talking, well-built heart breaker. She fell for him when they were young and yes they may have parted on less than amicable terms but lots of water and life have flowed under the relationship bridge between them. Theo has been serving his country and his adventuresome ways while Irene found a man that would give her a marriage of stability and money to go old on. So there is no way that Irene is going ...more

A lovely book for a springtime read. Theo Jacobson has come home to be in his brother's wedding. The wedding planner is Irene Cornwell, wealthy widow and Theo's one time fiancee. Thier parting was difficult and years later they still have issues about the breakup as well as feelings for each other.

This book hit the mark on so many levels; past secret lovers, a small town with close knit residents, a cutthroat competition over parade floats (LOL), and just so many other themes that add to the en

This was a cute love story of old flames finding each other again. This story had a big cast of characters that I truly enjoyed. This always makes reading so much fun and interesting. Especially when each of those characters gets their own books, sort of like the Lucky Harbor series from Jill Shalvis. I've been enjoying this type of romance novel lately.

Theo and Irene were great main characters that brought a good love story to the forefront.

I recommend this light read to anyone that enjoys gr

Molly Cannon has created another great story in the delightful Everson series. The main character are fun and full of passion making you root for them the whole way. I enjoy Molly Cannon's writing so much, I can't wait for what comes next.

Irène, ...more

Delightful series.

Flirting with Forever was another great Molly Cannon read. Her style of writing works for me. She creates real people with real emotions that make me want to laugh and cry. I didn’t realize Flirting with Forever was the third book in a series, so that shows this book can definitely stand alone. That being said, I am interested in learning more about Everson, Texas and the characters within, so will likely go back and read the others as well.

I Love this book! Seriously loved this book, Molly Cannon creates a fabulous love story with a solid background and even more fabulous characters. The way the book introduces you to the characters was nothing short of brilliant, Irene was a woman with money, money that her late husband had left her in charge of, she was labeled for marrying a man three times her age as 'The Black Widow' with the southern rumor mill running she had a bit of a tarnished background but that didn't stop her from doi ...more

This was my first chance to read this author and I will be reading more from her soon! This was a lovely second chance at love story with well thought out characters and wonderful southern flavor. I do, however, have two bones to pick. The first is about the scene where our heroine leads our hero out to the hangars where they are building the annual parade floats in the middle of the night. I honestly have no idea what the point of this whole scene was. They had just finished a nice bout of love ...more

Flirting with Forever by Molly Cannon is a splendid reunited lovers romance. This light-hearted novel is sweet and angst free with a delightful cast of characters.

Theo Jacobson and Irene Cornwell have moved on since their youthful but passionate relationship ended years earlier. Irene married well and now widowed, she is very involved in the local community and her blossoming business as a wedding planner. While Irene's feet are firmly planted in Everson, Theo has never settled in one place and

Old flames meet again at a wedding where she's the wedding planner and he's the best man and the groom's brother.

I will admit, I had a hard time getting through this one. If it was not a Netgalley book and I did not feel obligated to completely read and review the book, I would have put it down early on in the story and never picked it back up. Just did not float my boat at all. Ms. Cannon's earlier books were way better than this one.

For starters, it was an incredibly slow star

Theo Jacobson’s passion has returned home to be best man at his big brother’s wedding and cover the family business while he is on honeymoon. But this is only a pit stop, he plans to return to his passion of flying before the champagne goes flat. That is until he sees the wedding planner, his old fiancée and the woman who broke his heart.

Irene Cornwell started her wedding planning business with no more than a wing and a prayer, now she has done two weddings and all seems as a piece of cake. But

Irene Cornwell started her wedding planner business on a wing and a prayer, but when Theo Jacobson flew over her home as she lay in her swimming pool naked as the day she was born, she couldn't resist a smirk at him knowing her mouth was the last thing he would see. They'd had a love life that burned hot until he left Texas for Alaska breaking her heart. Now, he was back for his older brother's wedding and would probably be out of her life again. One thing she knows for sure is that she'll never ...more

I am such a sucker for a romance that take place in small towns. Add in the fact that this small town is in a region of Texas I know and love, well then you have me picking up this book lickety-split!

Unfortunately this book was just… ok. I like the characters and I think Irene and Theo make a lovely couple. But for me there was just too many times that the plot seemed to move along to slow. Yes I know life in a small town can be slow but this got to the point of being border line boring. Not ex

Theo Jacobson comes to Everson for his brothers wedding only to find out that the wedding planner is Irene Cornwell, the only woman he's ever loved who also broke his heart years ago.

This is such a "I can't put this down except to eat" type of book. It's a perfect summer read. I loved watching Irene and Theo's relationship redevelop from past lovers to what they currently are. I can absolutely foresee myself reading more books of Molly Cannon's because I loved this one. It has such a happy, feel

This is my first experience with the Everson, Texas series and Molly Cannon. I really enjoyed Ms. Cannon's writing style and the light-hearted nature of the book. The characters were likable and well-developed without being too 'intense', as was the story plot. Irene was also cooler and more likable than many female leads in these kinds of novels.
Overall, I liked the small-town feel and the characters and plot. I would not hesitate to read other books in the series or other works by Ms. Molly

Recommends it for: anyone
just got my copy, thank you! will post asap.

The ending makes me happy! Who doesn't love a happy ending. Who doesn't like the feeling of being loved and cared for by the person you love. I also like how molly have both side of the story, it makes you understand more though it kinda make you predict what's going to happened. This is a usual love story - misunderstanding in the middle and making-up in the end. But I still like it, that's me - sucker for happy ending!

FLIRTING WITH FOREVER is a fun book. A lost love comes back into Irene's life. She plays it cool, thinking he left her because he didn't love her. Theo sees Irene and wants to rekindle the romance, but wonders why she left him and married another man all those years ago.

It's fun to watch them slowly trust each other again. The ups and downs of love. A good read.

This wasn't my favorite of the series although I loved the characters. It read a little stilted, I've noticed this before with other authors and I wonder if it's an editing thing. Instead of using contractions to make the words and story flow better, it just seems off. Cute romance though and I love the town.

If you need that beach read to throw in your bag or have a lazy weekend day to lounge around in your favorite chair, pick this book up! Flirting with Forever is a sweet, small town romance - which I am loving right now!! - with wonderful characters full of flaws and wanting redemption. I enjoyed the heart and warmth of the characters and the overall book. It's def worth your time to read!
This one took WAY too long to read. This should have worked in so many ways, but it didn't.
The motivation of the characters was hard for me to understand. I just couldn't buy into the communication between the Theo & Ree.

This book took what it felt like forever. I just couldn't get hooked. I kept reading any hoping that it would inspire me.
It was well written and a good story but I don't think that I would read it again.
I always suggest people read it for themselves and decide if it does anything for them.
