First, I would like to thank E. D. Martin for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

E.D. Martin’s The Lone Wolf was such an amazing book on so many levels. This book was full of betrayal, infidelities, abuse, alcoholism, power, insecurities, self discovery, tragedies, birth, deaths and even some tears.

David was the one character in the book that I could not stand. I hated his personality, who he was, who he became, how he betrayed Kasey, how he abused her over and over aga

At the beginning of The Lone Wolf, you’ll be introduced to Kasey Sanford. Within a few words, you’ll immediately relate to a woman leading what is on the surface a fairy-tale life that is shattered by the infidelity of her husband, David. The day-to-day business of living for Kasey is turned upside down as she is confronted with forks in a road she never dreamed of traveling. Understanding her role as a partner through life is the journey a reader will travel with page-turning pleasure and sadne ...more

Redemption. This was the first word that occurred to me with the last sentence of the book. Redemption for what we’ve done; redemption from what we’ve suffered.

The Lone Wolf is a touching story of two people struggling to find their place in life and their true self, two souls which have suffered more than enough, two human beings who have discovered that we are the loneliest in our darkest hours.

As everyone else I’ve had my ups and downs. I’ve loved and I’ve been loved, even in cases when I cou

Wow oh wow. Your gonna need a hanky for this book. Some marriages can be rough and others can be all glitter. You still have your troubles. But it's not a two way street, communication is the key in any type of relationship.
Kasey has had a rough marriage to a husband that won't listen to her at all and has her doing stuff like hosting parties, going to pta meetings and going to parties hosted by his friends. Or so she thought. She wants a simple life, kind of what it use to be before all the gl

The Lone Wolf was a good story about love, life, and moving forward when you are dealt a bad hand. Kasey is married to a smarmy lawyer, to whom she is devoted. She is the mother of his child. However, David is not as committed to this relationship as Kasey would think. He is a cheater and an abuser. Although Kasey learns that the marriage means less to David, Kasey is willing to sacrifice her happiness to make the marriage work for the sake of their daughter. However, during all of this, she mee ...more

The Lone Wolf was a book that steals your heart. I really enjoyed reading it. It's filled with so many emotions that you honestly can't help but enjoy it.

Kasey is a stay at home mom and her husband, David, is a lawyer. David is set on having the perfect family image. When Kasey comes home one day after all her errands, she discovers an envelope in her door. When she opens it she is shocked to find pictures of her husband cheating on her. In order to try to fix their marriage away from all the g

Life is perfect. At least that's what Kasey thinks. When hardships knock her family from the pedestal she has it on, there is only so much a woman can take. Moving to a different place is hard in the best circumstance throw in a child, it's near impossible but Kasey makes it work.

Being in charge of a group of people is hard. Andrew knows better than most what it's like to do your best and still not have the outcome you want. Every time he needs someone they turn tail and run. It's always the sa

I enjoyed this book. Parts made me sad.. some parts mad.. and others I wanted to kiss the author and say thank you. lol So many feelings and thoughts and the writing was amazing. It made me feel like I was a part of the story and I was seeing it play out. The characters were awesome and complex. I really enjoyed this and am glad I got to review it.

Very intense book! Around 300 pages of love, grief, anger, and laughter, it was a tear jerker. I did not like the ending after all Kasey had accomplished, but then again could she had handled more? More would Andrew had not changed and she would have struggled more?
