[2010.06.06] 3.5 stars.

We especially enjoyed the Fremont walk (p90-91).

The downtown architecture walk (p52-53) was "ok", the best part being the Seattle library main branch. Make sure to go when it's open.

My wife and I read this while living in Seattle to learn about the places of value around us. While we didn't always agree with the relative ratings in the book, most of the attractions listed were enjoyable. We recommend it for people interested in spending at least 3-4 days in Seattle.

Nice little guide to the city of Seattle. Lots of maps, but few photos.
Like the descriptions by neighborhood, such as Queen Anne and Pioneer Square.
Like the detailed descriptions of the sights at Seattle Center, but could have used some photos.

I know the neighborhoods, the history and to never, ever try to park anywhere downtown thanks to one morning with this book. Thanks also to Jen who had it available as an awesome hostess.
