Rayna is in love with a guy from her high school. Unfortunately, her sister is a no good conniving you know what. Heartbroken, she leaves quickly to live with her in aunt in the city. Now, years later, she's decided it's time to find her mate.
In this Crossroads installment, high school crushes find each other and a spark remains. Rayna may be ready to put her past behind her, but Gregory is looking to find it again. Gregory is the foolish stud chasing after the wrong sister. When the two meet up in Crossroads, Gregory will chase Rayna until she listens to him.
This is a sweet read where deceptions unravel. The premise is a bit upsetting and disappointing. Family, even those created through adoption should stick together. This one, it's a bit malicious and makes me angry. I felt badly for Rayna, the outsider. She is already a bit different being a cheetah while her family of love are otter shifters.
Ms. Masters does another great job of making shifters which shouldn't be together blend into a perfect harmony. Between cheetahs, otters and horses, who would have thought they would all become a family. This is what is nice about these shifter stories. The human side still remains when the animal side comes out. Ms. Masters is a great matchmaker as each of her shifter lovers pair off and ride into the sunset. Recommended for paranormal lovers who love happily ever afters.

With the description of a cheetah raised by otters, I couldn’t help but grab this book. Rayna is a predator who’s learned to control her urges so tightly being raised by otters. Gregory was her high school crush that she never thought to see again, but somehow the magic of the Crossroads makes sure they find each other again.
This series is set around the Crossroads, a place where shifters can go to find their other half, their one perfect mate. Gregory and Rayna are definitely perfect for each other, they fell in love as teenagers but fate and a meddling cousin saved them from coming together too young and now they’re older and wiser and the chemistry is off the chart.
I recommend this to fans of quick shifter romance reads, Rayna and Gregory will enchant and bring on the urge to go for a run.

Loved Ray and Gregory! A sweet and steamy second chance love story. Rayna is a cheetah, raised by otters. It wasn't easy to be a predator growing up with prey. When her older sister started dating her crush, she had to leave or risk hurting her sister. Her birth parents left her a trust and an opportunity to go to Crossroads to find a mate.
Gregory is a horse shifter. He has headed to the Crossroads to find a mate, having lost his highschool crush.
Gregory's first night at the Crossroads bar brings him face to face with Ray, his crush. The women her sister told him he didn't have a chance with.
A first dance, crushes admitted, a steamy kiss, and an honest talk about the past, give Gregory and Ray a second chance. Feline shifter politics is not going to get in the way of their happily ever after! A fun, fast paced and steamy story.

Have I mentioned I love this series. There is just something about it that is so charming and appealing.
Ray is an awesome character who really knows herself. How strange it must have been to be a cheetah raised by otters. She really have to find a balance between her beast and human.
Gregory is a mix match for her but he almost waited too long for what he wanted. He really needed to pony up, pun intended!
The steam factor here is high. Some super hot and heavy scenes! One brings whole new meaning to riding bare back. Yum!
The extra story here was nice. And there was a serious you go girl moment!
Can not wait for the next book and I hope we see a story for Augusta in the future.

Rayna is a cheetah shifter raised by Otters after the death of her parents. Always on the outskirts and different from others she’s recently come into her own, and is now ready for a mate. Gregory is a wild man, literally. The horse shifter is stunned when he runs into the girl from his past, turned woman. She makes his inner animal gallop for joy, the same as she always has. Wading through the jumbled confusion on youth they found a common ground they can both stand on.

A new shifter combo and another good book. Rayna is a strong dominant woman and Gregory fits with her perfectly. The only thing I wish was that there had been some kind of confrontation with Layline even if it had just been her doing the whole "I was a stupid teenager" speel. Anything at all would have worked for me. But this was still a really good story.
