Purchased at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, this was a very cute and interesting book that tells you all about beetles, from their anatomy, behavior, and astonishing variety, to even cultural myths involving beetles and artwork made from them as well. Also includes tons of beautiful illustrations!

A thoroughly charming, whistlestop tour of beetle classification, characteristics and behavioural patterns as well as the threats facing beetles. Evans expertly navigates the fascinating field of entomology.
