Published in 1997, Charleston forms part of the 'Images of America' series and comprises a large display of well captioned historic photos of that city. The photos are very atmospheric, and often tell you every city in America has it's own particular twist on Americana.

Pretty fun looking through it and seeing all the pictures of Charleston that used-to-be. It is actually a much more thorough book than some in these photographic series and contains a good number of images that I have seen no where else.
