This was my first book by Linda Carroll-Bradd, and I wasn't expecting to laugh and giggle my way through it. This was definitely a welcome surprise from a new to me author. The friends to lovers trope worked well for me with this couple because of their familiarity with one another. Vena and Finn gre up together, and even though they hadn't seen each other in ten years, their reunion conveyed an easy friendship.

I liked Vena. She was quirky, she seemed to have a big heart, always preferring to pl

Vena has come home to the Montana town she grew up in. While she is on vacation she is trying to come up with stories to explain the clothing worn in the past for an exhibit in the museum she works as a curator. She ends up staying with her friend’s brother, Finnian Quaid, and he actually could use Vena’s help. He is thinking about running for office and needs a fiancée. What he never expected was that he would fall for his fake fiancée.

This was just a good romance that had a good flow to it. Wi

Vena Fenton should be the savoring each moment, she's engaged. So why is she fleeing back home for a much needed vacation without her fiancee? Finnian Quaid, childhood crush and one of the only men who can still get her to blush welcomes her with open arms, but he has an agenda and he needs Vena's help. A fake engagement, a few well placed kisses, and a ton of rampant emotions lead to a hilarious romantic story.

Loved Vena and Finn, they have a history and quickly fall back into a friendly banter

Rekindled Dreams is a sweet and fast read about a small town romance. We follow a woman named Vena (or Elfie) who is on vacation. Her break, however, is anything but relaxing. She returns to her hometown in Montana and end up staying in an inn where her old teenage crush happens to live. The years apart have not diminished her feelings a bit and his special proposition won't help keep her f

**3.5 Stars**

Rekindled Dreams is a story that's a little bit sweet and a little bit silly. It's a story about coming home, being true to yourself and have a second chance at your dreams. It's premise was promising but I felt the delivery was just okay.

Vena Fenton has come a long way from the shy, awkward girl who stuttered. She's now living her dream as an assistant curator at a museum. She's in line for a promotion and has an idea to ensure it. But she's having trouble with her creative process

I couldn't believe this set-up at all. I was completely turned off by the characters and quickly just wanted to it over.

As a child, Linda was often found lying on her bed reading about characters having exciting adventures in places far away. Upon reaching a landmark birthday, she decided to write one of those romances she loved so much. Easier said than done. Perseverance paid out and twelve years later, she received her first call from a publisher and a confession story was published. Now Linda writes heartwarmin ...more
