Such a lovely, colorful book! This is a charming story based on a little girl's imaginary adventure to find out where goldfish come from. The story is sweet, and the illustrations are bold, colorful, and tell the story along with the text. With the audio available, children can listen to it many times.

Jennifer Adams wrote Dana's First Fish, her first children's picture book, while attending college full time for her Bachelor’s in Anthropology, as well as being a single mom to her daughter with autism. Her daughter has always been an inspiration to Jennifer, as it often shows up in her writings. Jennifer lives with her daughter in Bryant, Arkansas where she is currently working on her next book.
