Very Christian, Very Good

I limit my reading of nonfiction to clean, wholesome, preferably Christian books. This one is perhaps the most overtly and yet discretely written Christian book that I have read in recent years. The compelling message of God's love and forgiveness is masterfully interwoven with an attractive and intriguing story. I look forward to reading more of Michael Phillips' books.

I love this book.

I learned more about my relationship with Jesus through Mercy and Jeremiah’s searches for God. The story draws the reader into an intimate walk with the couple as they learn to trust and serve God.

Quick and enjoyable read. Describes being a Christian in cowboy terms and that was an eye opener. Sometimes hearing something you know in a different genre gives it new meaning.

I feel like I’m a little different than most people. I enjoy a good fiction novel, but I do not want anything R rated-no smut, no cursing, nothing of that sort. It has been a struggle to find fiction that I enjoy thoroughly, but this book came through for me, and I have ordered the sequel as well! I love the spiritual aspects of the book especially. Although it is a story based on fictional characters, the spiritual revelations in the book are applicable in real life and inspirational for the soul. I’m so excited that I may have found a new favorite fiction author! Looking forward to the sequel!

I remember loving this series, particularly this first book. There is only two books in series; to the best of my knowledge anyway. It's probably time for a re-read so I can give it a better review. Most definitely the rating will go up when I do. Although I guess technically it is a series since there are two books in it, I tend to consider a "series" at least three books or more.

Only rating a 4 because I cannot remember much of story or it's sequel at the moment. However, I do remember being really liking the books and being very disappointed that there wasn't more than 2 stories in the Mercy and Eagleflight series.

This was such an amazing story line... don’t think you can’t change peoples lives.... you sure can when you know the Lord as your Savior... I cried.
