Love This: Learning to Make it a way of Life, Not Just a Word
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR... AND THEN SOME! When Jesus tells us to love our neighbors, he doesn't just mean the strange guy across the street (you know the one). He's talking about our neighbors on this planet---the people we see every day...and even those we don't see. Especially the people who don't get a lot of love. But how do we love them? Love This! shows you who your neighbors are, why they need your love, and tangible ways you can demonstrate that love to them. For How can you show love to people who * Homeless? * Addicted? * Sick? * Old? * Of other races? * From other countries? * Your enemies? Love This! contains real-life stories of people like you who've found ways to love their neighbors. It will challenge you to make a difference in your own world by loving the people who are often ignored or unloved.

Definitely helpful. I will keep this on my shelf as a resource for students who are thinking through how to be a good neighbor and love other people well.

I randomly came across this book & thought I'd give it a try. Wow! If this isnt what my church's motto is I dont know what is! I think often we as christians forget what we are ultimately here for. Many talk the talk but when push comes to shove we don't actually walk the walk. From homeless people to gay people this book challenges us to walk the walk. Its convicting in all sorts of ways. I love that there is application of how to live out the scripture woven throughout the book. I wish all believers could read this book. Its a great reminder of what we are really called to do. Bottomline we need to love as Jesus loves.
