I really like this book and will be buying it as soon as possible. There are so many projects and ideas in this book that even though I dislike a lot of them, there are so many more to choose from. I love a lot of the items such as a busy book/toddler activity book (for tactile play), photo blocks, an adjustable bucket hat, a booster chair, a tour car play met, a smocked dress, a "make any bag a diaper bag" insert and a pregnancy survival kit.

The instructions are pretty good, wordy in a good w

Ok... I got this book for review and my first thought was: Aaawww, I don't have little ones....
Then I opened the book.
Oh my gosh! I LOVE everything about this book! I love (nearly) all the patterns in it. I ADORE the fabric choices! I love how easy to understand the instructions are.

If you know me, I do not often give five stars....but this one deserves it.

The fabrics chosen for the samples in the book were absolutely delightful! T

I loved the first 2 One-Yard Wonders books. They're great for people who like to sew and need simple projects. Can't wait to check out the latest installment!

Lovely craft collection with plenty of unique and fun ideas to try out, or, as in my case, a few ideas to adapt to ongoing projects.
Very easy to follow with step-by-step instructions.

Cute and useful projects for babies to kids, and even a few accessories for the adults in their lives. I made not a one, but the directions look clear, lots of graphics and photographs are included, and none of the items seem very complicated anyway. Despite that, there's a lot of edge binding going on, so the clothing looks pretty sophisticated! There's good inspiration to be had here - and lots of projects to help bust your stash. Rather amazing that these wonders only need a yard of fabric.

Little One Yard Wonders- They’ve Done it Again!!
I was so excited to stumble upon Little One Yard Wonders. I am a huge fan of the first two installments so I had a really good feeling about how good this one was going to be. I was not disappointed. As always I was surprised at what can be made with only a yard of fabric.

The focus of Little One Yard Wonders is kids. The projects included will be wonderful for pregnant mamas to 10 year olds I really like that the authors have ensured that th

This is an excellent addition to the other books in the One-Yard Wonders series. There are 101 sewing project ideas that you can make with just one yard of fabric! Find all of that scrap fabric you have at home at put it to good use making all sorts of useful things for babies to toddlers. One of my favorite projects is the car organizer! Any beginning crafter or sewer will be able to complete most of these projects. The instructions are easy to understand and also include pictures for steps. I ...more

I discovered One Yard Wonders after my daughter purchased it and made a few things, so I snapped up this book when it became available on Netgalley. My original intent was to make a few things to take pictures for my blog, but you know how plans go when you are a crafter, right?

This book is great for beginning sewers, moms and grandmas (or aunties) who want to make things for the little ones. The amount of fabric/notions used makes the items very affordable, and (in spite of my own e

What an excellent stash-busting resource! Little One-Yard Wonders contains a nice variety of projects for all skill levels, from beginner to expert. Clothing projects include instructions for a range of kids' sizes. Illustrated instructions for all projects are very clear and concise, yet still very detailed and easy to follow. I like that additional detail photos were often included for each project. Overall, this is a fantastic sewing resource and would make an excellent gift or a great addition to y ...more

I received this book as an ARC from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

I'm a fairly crafty person, but as of now, I don't really sew beyond the very basic so I can't speak from experience on how easy the projects are. But, as someone with little sewing experience the project appear to be very doable for someone who actually knows how to sew. There is a good selection of small projects, everything from cute organizers to adorable toys and clothes. I would definitely recomm

Little One Yard Wonders is a wonderful collection of items to make for the little ones. The step by step directions seem easy to follow; which is always a plus. I like the colorful pictures and diagrams that accompany each idea. I do wish the pictures came before the items, makes it easier to decide which items I want to make. I like the way the book is divided. Each has items listed according to the way it would be used. The suggested price of 29.95 seems a little high at first but when you tak ...more

Such a great craft book for anyone that has children, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and though I have not made any of he projects as yet I cannot wait to get started. Being a mum who likes to sew is hard as finding modern projects that children will enjoy without being dated is difficult, but this book ticks all the boxes. It has lots of varied projects from clothes to toys and soft furnishings and hey all use small amounts of fabric which is even better on my wallet. The instructions seem cle ...more
WOW - this book is amazing! There are so many amazing projects available all that take only ONE YARD of your chosen fabric. Anything from your own fabric storage "boxes" to custom kids underwear/ undershirts to toys and activities to keep kids busy. While I didn't have the patterns to test out any of the items within the book, I would DEFINITELY buy, and recommend this book to anyone who is interested in sewing and has little ones to create for. There are some projects to accommodate all levels ...more

I loved this book! This was lots of fun to read with great original ideas. Lots of toys and games such as indoor hopscotch and a tea set with tablecloth out of washable fleece. There are simple projects as well as more complicated ones so there's something for everyone. It is well illustrated with well written instructions which makes it easy to follow and make the projects. Most patterns are cut by measurement so there are very few pattern pieces which is wonderful. Overall, a wonderful book of ...more

This book has a lot of cute projects but the one project I have made out of it, the western shirt, had a few flaws. Particularly the pattern pieces were not sized correctly, so that they did not fit together when I was selling them. I checked my traced pattern pieces against theirs many times and all cases, I had traced accurately but they weren't scaled right. I am hesitant to attempt any more clothing from the book, knowing that the pattern pieces may not be accurate.

Fabulous book! I wanted to jump right in. Lots of great projects. I have little nephews and a niece, so I'm sewing for little ones right now. This book is perfect for that. And I'm getting to use my fabric stash to get ready for Christmas early. The instructions are easy to follow, and the pictures are great! I'm impressed at the variety of projects that are available. Definitely a great book to have or to give as a gift.
