I was given this to read and review by the author and i was not disappointed. The story is good with likable characters and it pulls you in. When I finished it it I wised it had been longer. Kyle Pratt wrote a really believeable story and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

A true page turner, filled with quick action and interesting characters.

The beginning was pretty good and overall it was a decent sci fi story. Near the end though it got bogged down by religious zeal and the not too subtle similarities between Justin and Jesus/Christianity. Not bad, but left much to be desired.

Three stars even. Quite readable, with the occasional awkward bit of dialog, and some events that seemed forced and to come out of nowhere from left field.

Showed promise but the religious zeal got in the way of making it a great book.

Hi! I’m Kyle Pratt, the author of seven books. The latest, The Long Way Home completes the bestselling post-apocalyptic Strengthen What Remains series.

I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and went to Mesa State College in Grand Junction. When money for college ran low I enlisted in the United States Navy. I thought I would do four years and then use my veteran's benefits to go back to college.
